What badge pieces to get for new Fury warrior?

I got to 80 a few days ago, been prot 1 - 80 and spammed heroics + bought some nice BoE's for my tank set so I could spam heroics for my main goal: be fury. The tank queues are instant so I figured in the end it would save me some time. Anyway, what BADGE gear should I start getting? So far I have 2x Edge of Ruin though working to get the ones from H PoS (bad drops so far), and I guess I can afford to get a couple BoEs. Should I bother with T9 4 set bonus? And what pieces should I get? Blah blah need help, thanks xD

Also I'm not raiding atm with him, server is obsessed with epeen scor...I mean Gear Score so needa get some starter stuff so. Maybe 5k GS I can get into some ICC 10.

You could try to gather Emblems of Triumph first, to get full T9 gear.
Gather a Cloak from the Emblems of Frost and maybe find some crafters and create the craftable gear for starters.
T9 is decent, and I would advise you to get the Frost gear Belt and Cloak first.

    Triumph:
    T9 full gear.
    rings,
    trinket,
    thrown weapon

    Frost:
    belt,
    cloak,

You can keep track of possible drops from heroics, as well as vendors, tier sets by getting the AtlasLoot Addon, which is really useful!
    Good luck!

you could always like.. read the sticky on fury and figure out what upgrades are best yourself? asking other people to do your work makes you a bad player, don't be a bad.

edit: the guy above suggests belt from frosts, don't buy the plate one.

edit 2: I just actually read the post above, don't listen to anything he says.

its hard to say due to a lot of the "ideal" 4pc setups assuming you have the full set.

    I would personally do this.

Triumph - Head>chest>legs>shoulders>ring1>ring2>thrown weapon (use gloves from toc10/25 as your offpiece if you can)

    Frost - Shoulders>head(at this point swap to 2pc+2pc+hands)>chest>legs(put on complete 4set now)>hands>belt>Cloak>trinket>thrown

Though tbh it will be cata in 4-5week MAX so you wont even have got 2 bits of frost by then. I would just scrap gearing up and just have a "decent tank set" and store up your badges to sell into either gems(triumph) or Primordials(frost) before both this items plummet in price.

    ~note~

"asking other people to do your work makes you a bad player, don't be a bad." - most of the info online in guides etc is way way out of date so asking is generally a good way of getting up to date info. Enjoy your infraction/warning for Flaming, keep it clean from now on, next post with a horrible attitude will get a proper point infraction

Landsoul's spreadsheet at ElitistJerks will allow you to upload your toon and play around with potential upgrades. I wouldn't invest emblems in any non-plate gear since they'll soon be less useful in Cata.

this seems to be completely ignoring important fury concepts like armor pen and other stats you'll need to balance and change depending on what pieces are available. do some more in depth research and erase the memory of this post from your mind.

Honestly, i would just save your badges. Run the ICC dungeons and heroics, do some ToC 10/25, onyxia, and call it a day. Save your badges for when they are converted to Justice Points and just ride on into Cataclysm.

The conversion rate is apparently terrible. I'd spend what you can on a few pieces before hand, or on gems to AH and wait for the switch at this point.
"Believing something is not an accomplishment. The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because “strength of belief” is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. Listen to any “die-hard” conservative or liberal talk about their deepest beliefs and you are listening to somebody who will never hear what you say on any matter that matters to them — unless you believe the same. Wherever there is a belief, there is a closed door."

It may be terrible, but with cata less than a month out i dont see why you wouldnt want to just get a head start on 85 gear. I mean your gonna waste badges on gear you will replace by 82, especially since the liklihood of him running heroic ICC 25 / RS 25 is slim to none

Thanks for all the replies, I know Cata is soon but I don't wanna sit around on my new 80 for a month or two. Also want some "decent" gear for leveling since it's meant to be a lot tougher than previous.

Triumph are going to be valued the same as Frost when 4.0 hits. Both will be turned into Justice Points.

You should spend your Frost if you have enough on gear and either save as many Triumph as you can for the conversion to Justice Points or buy gems and sell them for gold.
