It seems like people are "getting suspended left and right", but it's mostly because these are the people who are upset about the whole affair. The people who haven't been banned generally don't talk about it either. Until I see facts and figures claiming otherwise, I'll go with it being a vast minority of the playerbase who are getting suspended.

You want to know the secret to not getting banned?

Resist your urge to call an NPC an rp fag when he goes invulnerable to give a speech, because that is very hurtful to nearby homosexuals and you are teaching bad language to kids.
Assume that everyone around you is 12 years old and isn't fortunate enough to have parents who can do their jobs, and anything you have to say is just too explicit and grown up for them to read.
Don't use violent or disturbing language to express yourself even if you want to.
Don't name your character Alaskan Snow Dragon.

I haven't gotten banned but banning people for certain names is weak. I see why but it's weak, I would like if they suspended people for bragging/crap talking that just silly. I have won and lost games were someone on my team or the other talks crap. Its a video game nothing u do matters. Why do they feel the need to brag. I just think people should be more chill.

Certain names deserve at least a forced-rename. There's been so many...bad names....that people have made, that it's not even funny.

I'm not a total jerk, I have a toon named Pikachu McMuffins, and I don't ban every character with 'not an actual name,' but naming your toon something that's blatantly sexual will get a target + report from me. It's mainly the sexual ones.

Sounds like the vocal minority going all out about bans, I'll wait till some real numbers would show... Personally I haven't used any inappropriate names, exploited any bugs (or found any) or insult others. I'm not that dumb.

I saw an awesome name of a semi-famous figure (an Architect), but I don't mind because it wasn't the horrible crap some people run around with. I only report them if they are talking in /map, if they are just running around, it isn't quite so bad. I've seen a LOT of terribly sexual/racist/hateful names so far, I'm really surprised.

The way I figure it, there's the saying 'birds of a feather stick together'. Similar people will forge friendships with each other, similar personalities, hobbies, etc.

In other words, it makes sense if you're seeing people getting suspended all the time, because you seem to be hanging out with a bunch of jackasses, drawn together because of their shared jackassery.

Meanwhile, the decent folk are drawn together and enjoy a ban-free environment. Works for me!

My worst name (I've made) is Finger Licking Good. My sig's Mesmer name needs to be changed. But I made her last night and when i chose the name I was expecting to not get it. I don't find it as sexual as "Biggestpenor" that I did Explosive Intellect with. They got a report from me. FLG is just a KFC lover...

I have doubts that is true. How could they possibly monitor that and why would they ban you for it?

As a note, I don't follow Kripp nor do I watch his stream, so its possible, but it seems highly unlikely to me.

Yeah no, that's not the reason he got banned. A very VERY large amount of karma rewards are BoE for a reason. So you can sell/trade them. If he got banned, it was for something else.

Probably not the case. Much more likely that he acted in an obscene/abusive/immature manner in chat to someone, somewhere, possibly off camera. Or he had a character whose name violated the ToS.
