Its best for encounters when raid is stacked. Finally working as intended. Whats to be discussed here?
If you primarily need stacked up healing take divine star, other wise take cascade.
Pretty much all that needs to be said.
This talent is simply the best for everything atm even if the only thing you manage to hit is the tank and the melee for the simple reason that it has only 15 sec cd and is much lighter on mana, costs the same as a PoH while doing crazy healing compared to the other two options.
I'm not sure where you're getting 100k from. Unless you mean double crits, in which case, it requires a lot of luck and is pretty rare.
Still, it finally looks nice on stacked fights. Previously, it was supposed to be good at those, but really failed to have any impact, doing slightly over 100k overall healing - not bad for a single gcd, but nothing terribly impressive, either. Still, there aren't that many fights with heavy stacking, Cascade will be better for most encounters.
Except that Divine Star is now incredibly bugged. Range (distance) has been increased to beyond 40 yards (though after 40 yards it only gives a single hit rather than two). But the width of the path is now incredibly narrow, more so than before. And then there's the weird bugs that allow it to pass right through things without hitting them at all, or for it to come nowhere close to something but hit it. I was getting hits from over 45 yards away and misses when it went right through it. I put a video together real fast on the weird behavior:

This ability, to me, is only usable on 25 man raids where everyone is stacked. In 10 man Cascade is just amazing

In holy spec, sanctuary.. This spell in raids is now hitting for 140k on a double crit.
In dungeons. Upwards of 200k plus
I haven't been on for a couple days ( hard drive failed and have to reinstall >< ) Looking forward to testing this. 479 ilvl Holy, 12.5k combat regen. Raid buffed.
It's quite impressive right now, honestly I see it getting some sort of "range requirement" nerf like cascade has.
Any fight you are stacked, in raids this thing has potential to do 200k healing on a double crit even in raids.
it only had a 15 radius before, i believe now its like.. 12??? Not too big of a nerf but, I do notice I have to be picky about my positioning if I use it
Overall, for any raid with heavy melee, this spell is hotsauce
My raid has one melee besides the tanks, Waiting for my download to finish. Looking forward to seeing the numbers I can pull off.
