How on earth do you do it?

I hope this thread is allowed on this topic. Pretty much the only topic I'm following on here. I'm an Achievement hunter, but furthermost a Mount hunter.

It's pretty simple. I just got back to wow 2 weeks ago, after a 1 year break, and I keep reading about people make TONS of money, by putting very little effort into it.

My biggest dream (no kidding) in WoW is to obtain either Spectral tiger, and/or Magic Rooster, and (MAYBE) try buying a few cool items off of BMAH. But i simply can't make it past the 100-150k.

At the moment I'm pretty much earning all my gold on farming mounts in the old raids, which is around 10-15k overall pr. week, which is not much.

I have all proffs at 700 except for Blacksmithing, and Herbalism.

I was wondering if any of you guys have some tips/tricks.

If this thread is not allowed, feel free to delete it.

    Sincerely Nillana.
PS. English is not my native language, so please bare over with me.

It´s not "without effort", but you level the amount of toons you can bear to 100 and do garrison missions ad nauseam. But you´re a little late to the party, others have made millions with this method so we saw the biggest inflation in WoWs history, and your gold is worth nothing anymore. You will have to put in quite A LOT of effort to be able to buy the rooster or the spectral tiger. Or a lot of money.

Level many more alts and grind out the vanilla raids every week. Buy heirlooms so you can sell every item while leveling. Do garry missions salvage yard.

It was "easy" to make a ton of gold before the garrison nerfs. There's still a decent amount to be made every week but it's not like you can just have 1 max level character and it starts raining gold.

Sure I was making at times 120k a week. I also had to level those 11 characters to 100, pay for all the inns, the scrap yards, the barracks, then get all the followers. Then you have to think about having to do Harrison Jones on 10 characters a day to get those treasure hunters from the inn leveled as quick as possible. Yeah it was easy when all of that was done and all you had to do was check your tables like three times a day but it wasn't as effortless as people like to think it is. It's a lot of boring tedious shit and to be honest if I was starting now I wouldn't even bother since the rewards have been nerfed so heavily.

Pretty much this, but the 675 missions can RNG in your favor from time to time.
Nothing like getting 7 champion's honor in a week.

Also nothing like having 3/4ths of a guild bank tab full of Void Satchels. -_-

Hey, as mentioned u r a little late but u can still farm a ton of gold per month. I am myself farm about 500-800k per month, depends on my effort . (11x level 100 on my main realm)

If u do the cata gold raids (blackwing decent, bastion of twilight, throne of the four winds *nice to have, firelands and at least 5/8 dragon soul - all 25man heroic) with 11 characters per week, 4x/month u earn about 270k per month. Thats sick!

There are a bunch of easy pets like the manafiend pets from the highmaul rares, the crocilisk babys from the shattrath daily, the tiny shale spider (only farm this if u r a n811) and more that sell for a "lot".

If u have a warlock, try farming the sealed tome of the lost legion in the morning, on my realm it sells between 10-20k and a lot of ppl dont bother farming this themselves - try realm hopping, sometimes im lucky and get 3 per 50 rare kills, sometimes i get nothing

I highly recommed to level up blacksmithing, the item enhancements are worth a lot, do ur daily cd every day (this applies to almost every profession with item enhancements)

Do Kazzak weekly, felblight is still worth it, sell it or use it to craft item enhancement with ur professions

This site is really helpful https://www.reddit.com/r/woweconomy/

hope this helps (i'm sorry for shitty english)

Edit: u should have an inn lvl 3 (+ 1 treasure hunter weekly/more gold missions), salvage yard lvl 3, barracks lvl 3 (+5 extra follower) and a trading post lvl 1 or higher on every character for a nice amount of passive daily gold

This week on my hunter alt I did; BoT, BWD, DS, FL, To4W, Naxx, ToC, Uld (everything on 25H) and I made 11.5k gold with BT still to do. It all took a few hours and I had to think which Raids where on the same continent and blah. I ran the older raids to se how the gold increase goes, doing Cata raids is hands down the best so if you want to save time and have many alts, thats ur focus.

Edit: BT only paid out 500g. I would skip it and save time doing Cata raids on alts.

Legion will be adding an exact replica of the Magic Rooster as the new enchanting mount, the Enchanted Chicken, so maybe you should avoid getting that one for now not to get disappointed.

    I was you before.
There is only one possible solution, learn to play the AH. The smartest gobelins are making 200k+ profit per day, through effort. You can then understand than the wow token is not a great way to use your rl money, your objective is too high for it, unless you're very, very wealthy. Even though the satisfaction from earning gold by yourself would not exist.
Learn about TSM, visit stormspire.net. At the moment, the best way to make real gold is buying low, selling at regular market price.
Those claiming to get gold with no effort either don't make much money, or they have already put efforts in the past, and are now earning their reward.

On EU, you should count 1 gold cap per tcg mount, putting the late completionist in a harsh situation.
The exception is spectral tigers and rooster, worthing 1.5-2 Millions gold.
Even if you are from EU, you can get your dream TCG mount by becoming an experienced gobelin. It took me around 3 years to be comfortable, but you can do it faster.
The upcoming enchant rooster and the current magic rooster, even if they share the model, will always be 2 distinct mounts to collect.

Buy some WoW tokens and sell them on the AH.

Also Spectral tiger usually sells for 500k+ Probably more now due to the huge amounts of money floating around. I used to sell them before WoW tokens came along.

depends if its US or EU realm.

US realm TCG mounts are easy to obtain anyone can get them all.

EU it'll cost you practically a gold cap per mount and two for a swift spectral, you'll need to have a ton of gold.

Bear in mind that a lot of people like to boast and blow things out of proportion, I would actually say that it's a very small % of players that has gold cap or more. I don't think you can make a lot of gold without effort, but most efficient way is to play AH - buying cheap and selling more expensive. It's not as simple as it sounds though, you need to check AH very often, set up addons, follow pricing trends, so that's a lot of effort for someone who finds that stuff boring.

Oh actually, if you want effortless way there is one - sell WoW tokens but unless you have a lot of RL disposable income, I wouldn't advice it.

Fastest way is to level 11 to 100 and spam old raids.
Sell every drop, plus get chance for 1% mounts drops already from those raids, i got all wotlk and cata 1% drops in about 6 months of farming this year.
Plus leveling with heirlooms is pretty fast, you can easily do the leveling process from 0 to 100 in 3 days, probably even less if the class can tank.
Doing the old raids is going to take a lot of time though, some instances can easily take an hour to complete, some are faster, but looking at the joint effort you're probably looking at around 36-74 hours per week of raid soloing, if you do all and not just the cata 25 hcs.

Might get some extra via garrison gold missions, but leveling those followers on all toons is not worth the sanity loss from doing the grinding.

I entered the garrison rain of gold club right at start so yeh garrisons are good for me. They require good amount of effort to minmax on 11 alts tho. It's not for everyone.

If you can't be arsed with garrison, professions are better. Too bad professions offer very similar gameplay style - you still need to keep up with your cooldowns and work orders cos that's what making good expensive items in wod. Buy 30 felblight for 3k, sell mighty steelforged essence for 8k - 5k profit from 175 bop mats & 30 cheap sorcerus Repeat x 11 alts = huge gold per week.

It's boring but hey at least you don't have to grind these missions and follower gear so hard. I don't think it's worth it to do the mission gold method if you're just starting out. Legion is looming behind the corner and when it launches, blizzard will propably flat out remove gold-awarding missions (otherwise players will flip a middle finger at legion content staying at the sodding command table due to extreme gold rewards)

Another method is the barn. Barn is good because you just need to have level 3 barn and the cat follower from nagrand on each alt. Wolf-farming groups can be found on premade finder every day, you can farm 350 cages per hour. It's really good source of gold if you like to farm once a while. 1 day = 6 crates = 6 blood & 132 fur. Worth about 1k gold on my realm. Say you got 5 characters with barn, that's 5000 gold per day and you only have to farm few hours per MONTH to sustain it.
