Blingtron's Secret Vault quest MIA

Hey,

so I recently (some weeks ago) came back to the game to get some alts up for Legion and I've yet to see this quest. I've been searching and I couldn't find any requisites for this quest, although on some sites it says stuff like Inn Lv3, some followers at 675, etc.

What do I need exactly for this quest to pop up? I thought that maybe some of my other toons would have it, but they don't, so I don't really know what to do.

Any ideas? Is there maybe some kind of addon that checks for available quests? I've got masterplan but I only to see the % of success.

As mentioned above, it's just a very rare quest.

I have 7 characters set up for running missions, and all are capable of running Blingtron's at max capacity. Meaning 100% success and 4000 gold. Here is how long it's been since each one of those 7 has seen it show up.

265 days
68 days
34 days
119 days
Never (I had this computer built almost 10 months ago. That's how far the addon tracks, therefor in that time it's never shown up for this character. So bascically almost 300 days.)
142 days
24 days

So yeah..... Rejoice when it actually shows up because if you see it more than once in a blue moon, you're very lucky.

It's strange, no idea how it works. Had one at the start of WoD on my main and just got my 2nd one a couple of days ago. Similar luck on my hunter but my Monk gets one approx every month.

My druid just got it twice in a row after a weekly reset, my main hasn't seen it in almost 3-5 months.

My Shaman has never seen it, Monk never seen it.

I have no evidence to support it, but it would be interesting to know if there's any connection to Blingtron boxes that you get from the account-wide daily.

I've seen it 2 or 3 times on my main, not sure about alts.

Dont think so, I only do the quest on my main and got the mission on nearly every character that can get it at some point.

Well, I guess I need to add this as an update to my last post.
I just got home from work and finished/started my new round of missions and Blingtron's showed up on my one character. So my alt that hadn't seen it in 119 days, just got it to show up again.

MasterPlan says it's been 170 days since I've gotten Blingtrons vault (I log in and do my gold missions every morning)

Similar numbers for all the other missions that give several thousand gold. Maybe early gold mission nerfs, maybe RNG - but I think it's weird they stop showing up all of a sudden.

Its just so rare... most retarded thing is when you get it on some lvl92 with lvl1 garrison that cant even scrap together 100% for reward when you have 22 other garrisons with 12+ TH followers...

It's just incredibly rare. With currently 44 100s across 5 accounts I'm seeing it on a regular basis, but checking each character some haven't seen the mission for weeks, even months. Just now I checked 3 of my priests and one of them haven't seen the mission for 196 days.

It can come in spurts too, I have seen it 4 times in last 2 weeks, before that was probably a month (this is across 9 toons).

I seem to get a batch of them on my characters in the same week, then nothing for months. Expecting to get one more before 7.0 hits.

Who cares? What you should be looking for are the missions that carry the current seasons Champion's Honor token, that sells on the AH for 3-4 times what Blingatrons is worth. It's also a lot more common. That is if you are in it for the gold and everyone that wants Blingatrons Vault kinda is or?

That said I tend to see Blingatrons show up once or twice a month over all my garrison farm toons. The odd things is that some of the characters have never gotten it, I looked since MasterPlan keeps track of it - most had had it within the last month or couple of months but I found a few old characters (like the 3rd lv100 I leveled) have never had a mission to Blingatrons vault.

That is true. But most people get totally blinded by the 4000 gold of Blingatrons Secret Vault and forget that there are more common items that sell for more or just as much. Beyond the Champion's token you have the Medallion of the Legion and the Quick Mind Elixir (or whatever the name is again, the one people use to quick level toons) that sells for about what Blingatrons bring in and they are a lot more common (as always price may vary on a server and daily basis etc etc). So it's not that I spit on the 4k gold Blingatrons hand out, it's just that in the grand-scheme of things there are other more lucrative items to look out for.

I came back something like 18 days ago and I've gotten 6 Blingatrons. 4 on my main survey, one each one 2 other servers. Lucky enough for all 4K 100% success rates as well. Collected the last one yesterday. Never the same toon, so the other... 2ish toons that can get it, probably will soon enough. None of them have naval yards but one.

I don't think there can't be that much RNG with that mission.. there needs to be some kind of trigger :/
