Local residents sick of protestors blocking transit.

    Source: Faux News Disclaimer

Police threw several protesters to the ground as people watching cheered them on and thanked them, according to Fox 12 Oregon.

"Take them all down!" one man was heard yelling.

"Thank you for doing your jobs guys, appreciate it," another said.

Portland police said 14 people in total were arrested throughout the city in connection with protests, with six coming at Southwest Yamhill and 6th Avenue.

In a series of tweets, Fox 12 Oregon reporter Kelsey Watts chronicled the scene before and after the police arrived.
People heard commenting "We just want to get home."

Some nice video of the guys blocking/jumping on the bus being blinded sided by the police. lmao

In one of the videos you notice all the scared white kids let the black guy through with his car after he opens his door. haha

I saw that video. Was awesome to watch. This is how any protesters who block the roads unlawfully should be dealt with.

    It's a far right wing/Trumpets thing.

Then when they do it themselves, they refuse to take any personal responsibility for their actions.

How do you know who all those people voted for in the video?

Looks to me like they profiled the antifa types. They're usually the ones covering their faces.

Ya, protests have never blocked traffic before now right? They should go back to protesting like MLK did to achieve change.

I believe this is what they would call a "Faulty Comparison" fallacy.

I believe these are two groups of protesters protesting things and trying to get their point across. Both are blocking traffic.

Yeah, it's really worrysome. I mean, back in the day there were people cheering when the police send dogs against civil rights protestors.

This whole strong man, suppressing protests with brutality attitude is sadly all too common among people still.

Yet you want those same police to arrest recreational drug users and you want judges to give them harsher criminal penalties correct? That is what you advocated to me right?

I notice a huge difference, the MLK protesters aren't blocking all lanes. Emergency vehicles would not be stuck.

    lets see
    1 they were moving.
2 they were known about before hand, police escorts and on the 2nd one Judges even had orders on the numbers of marchers when the road went from 4 to 2 lanes for safety.
3 even in the pic you posted 2 lanes are still open.

Your hypocrisy would be a great start.

And I just want everyone to be absolutely clear that your moral high ground is a facade.

Can we just put protestors to work directing traffic. They could even have a whistle and a smart looking cap

Be careful, far righters love to "win" arguments by constantly bombarding their opponents with various strawmen, goalpost shifting and selective cherrypicking/memory. Oh, and in Endus' words, gish-galloping.

    There's no reasoning with them.
