Momentum is the way to go without a doubt (with current tuning). It was already ahead in the past, but the buffs to Unbound Chaos make it far stronger than Demonic (in aoe it sims like 15% higher).
Momentum has a higher DPS but it's completely hectic, requires much more concentration/awareness and has much less survivability.
Movement is also very rough in some mythic dungeons. Demonic feels like the best choice for ease of use. Momentum is more dps but way harder.
is momo really that much more dps? 15% more damage dosent seem that insane and i find it hard to believe it actually does that much more than demonic.
is it just sims or are people finding these results while actually playing the game as well ?
What, lol? 15% is a massive difference from just swapping a talent.
I've tested both in mythic runs and find that Momentum does way more DPS as well. Granted, a lot of it is due to how completely broken Unbound Chaos is, though, so when that inevitably gets nerfed I'd like to try a comparison again.

Yeah Momo is far above, it is not only about the % but the fury regeneration it provides that is crazy.
But for sure, I will never go on Momentum in Tol Dagor.
I'm curious, have you tried simming Demonic with a 1313221 build instead of 3213221? IMHO It would seem as a more appropiate approach to the demonic build.
Theres so many bosses in Myth 0 I found that using felrush as a dps tool can likely actually get you killed that I have to call into question the usefulness of momo. Like you all sim patchwerk. There isnt patchwerk lol.

what kind of build would we be using for momo? I see some using trail of ruin but wouldn't fel mastery make more sense since it's so dependent on fel rush + unbound?
Not gonna lie I'm kind of jealous of your gear at this point. A full clear has only netted me 4 pieces of 340 gear that weren't for a duplicate slot and no weapons.
Have you ended up hitting 17 yet for your azurite pieces to actually be upgrades over a 325?
On topic - Momentum and unbound chaos are going to end up being pretty difficult to use effectively at higher levels of M+.
The 4 340 chest pieces I have make me very sad
Kings rest has some sketchy mechanics if you're not familiar with them, but overall I'd say Temple is the hardest of the lot. I haven't done Siege yet either.
Did you end up grinding island expeditions? I just hit 15 as I haven't really had as much time as I would have liked this week.

Unbound chaos is going to be stupidly good.. I just have one trait.. One of my biggest dmg dealers every dungeon (total dmg).. The carnage it will cause with 3x oh my.. I am wondering how it works with momo? It must increase its dmg by 15% right? Does the fel rush bonus talent also work on it or is it different?
