    Azerite System is a failure?

After almost two weeks from the release of BfA, what do you think of the new Azerite Armor system?

The worst part of tier and relics combined into one abomination
    Raider and multi-classer currently on:
    Fire Mage on Ravencrest EU
    Guardian Druid on Ravencrest EU

Boring. It was very clear from the start that it took only the awful aspects of artifact weapons and got rid of everything that made them cool.

    Not bad at all.
Hated it at low ilvls, but it seems to even out once you wear nicer gear.

It's nothing special, but at least there's no need to worry about sets, relics etc anymore

Indifferent. For the spec I'm currently playing (frost mage) it does not change the gameplay so... Just trying to get bis pieces.

It's just artifact+relics fused into one thing.

The worst thing is that you still have to sim gear, even if it's lower ilvl.

I think that the idea itself is not bad but as usual it has been badly developed.
    1) For many classes the specific traits are really weak
    2) Putting the specific traits of specs with the generic traits does not make sense, it would have been definitely better to add another ring and separate the two types.
    3) Last ring too trivial. Instead of putting a trivial +5 ilvl why not put a golden trait?

A poor system matched only by its implementation.

It's just not interesting. Most gear you have you'll never see the third and fourth trait on thanks to having to level your heart of Azeroth to get to them. By the time you get to 27 azerite levels, you'll be out of your Mythic dungeon gear and into raid gear.

Most of the traits are just flat increases to damage or watered down utility effects from Legion legendaries.

It feels like something tacked on because they had to have some form of end-game progression. Not some fleshed out, interesting feature.

it's grind like we do since day 1 in wow in numerus ways. so nothing good, nothing bad.
concerning the azerit talent, they are bad

I love the first ring but... i was not aware that all of the inner rings are like useless.

Only minor defensive or "+5iLvL" is very, very lazy.

We need to have CHOICES that IMPACT our rotation, not only "your [insert spell here] deals [insert number or percentage here] more damage when [insert no-impact condition here]".

Idea of no legendaries / tier sets for that is ok, but atm there are not enough traits and 90% of them are very boring and does not change our gameplay in any ways but pure numbers.

I wouldn't say it's the worst system ever or that it's a failure but I also wouldn't say it's very interesting, either.

At least with artifacts we had the hunt for appearances and then longer term goals with unlocking color tints.

    Awful system.

I can't believe this made it in after the excuses they used to ditch reforging.

So far imho yes, maybe they'll put better traits in patches for example...active abilites instead of all passives.

As predicted, there is no real 'choice' in the traits you take. Every class still has its BIS azurite piece with its BIS azurite talent choices. It was an attempt to add more variety to the game that really just added more RNG in our drops.

its is not completly fail ..but it needs to be upgrade those trait dont change gameplay of my character like legiondaries did and this i miss ..in D3 is GOOD system of runes and legenderies upgrade your gameplay maybe they can look at that in time

I like the azurite system, gives a lot of different combos to play around with in high M+ keys. And for boomkin our best ST and 2-3 target traits do change the rotation.

From the perspective of the class i play (holy priest) i think it is ok, We have traits for different roles - raid or dungeon healing. I think that for the "min/max players"the system is good. For the average player it is...whatever.... I am trying to get at leas 2 pieces of every azerite slot of gear so i can do different builds. And for min/maxing things i might even need third piece for every slot. And i am sure that the more the expansion progresses we will get even more and powerfull traits.

    Traits are an unbalanced mess.
M+ end of dungeon chest doesn't reward azerite gear, you need to wait for the weekly chest to get a random piece. Good luck getting what you want.
Raid pieces might not even be usable, for some specs you need like a 40ilvl upgrade to ditch a certain piece.
