Kul Tiran males would probably be cool... if their bellies weren't SO feaking large

Okay, I get it; they're supposed to be big, burly "strongman" types.

But fact is, Kul Tiran males look fucking *ridiculous* from a side angle:

    https://i.imgur.com/XCt0HdX.jpg

It just fucks with their silhouette too much. Not only are their bellies MASSIVE, but it looks almost like they're trying to sneak a basketball under their shirt, it looks freaking awkward as hell.

Couple that with the insane texture-stretching, and you've got a problem. It's no secret that "armor" is just textures being placed over your character's body, but here, it seems to highlight that to such an extreme, it looks more like body-paint than even presenting the ILLUSION of wearing "armor".

Keep them "big", husky, whatever, but just tone down their gut A LITTLE BIT, please Blizz? If they weren't SO fat, I can see where they would cut a little more intimidating frame. You wouldn't even have to change their skin textures, as they can remain "well-padded". Just don't go *so* extreme with their weight. Like I said, in its current state, it just looks ridiculous, especially when wearing armor. Toning it down just a bit would do WONDERS towards making them actually seem even remotely "cool".

Extra points for bumping their shoulder-size up just a bit, and increasing the size of Belt "ornaments". Oh, and I would really dig some additional Hair and Beard styles, maybe more "viking" styles? After all; we're clearly not getting Vrykul at this point, so at least having a couple of full beards and braided hair/beard styles would be excellent (while also fitting the naval theme of the race, bordering more on "Pirate").

Yeah, Kul Tirans are fundamentally just "fat humans", but I can at least respect the idea of trying to do a different *kind* of human. But their stomachs are SO massive, it just doesn't really work.

Not even a "It's not really my thing", but it fundamentally doesn't work with virtually any transmog sets, as evidenced by the screenshot. Their massive bellies are super unusual-looking (more than just "being fat"), and it winds up visually dominating their design. You can't "find a good transmog set", because their stomachs stretch the textures to the point of absurdity.

To be fair, I think it's also partially highlighted by the fact their lower-bodies seem underdeveloped, but that's a far lesser issue.

Just reining-in their stomaches a *bit* -- more along the same thickness as their chests -- would still keep the overall "look" of the massive Kul Tirans, without ruining every single chest-piece in the game that isn't their Heritage armor.

He looks like Eddie Hall. That's not an uncommon strongman body-type.

As a very large man with a very large belly myself, I can tell you that it "does really work". You may not like the look of it, and that is certainly a valid opinion. But my Kul Tirans belly will be smaller than mine IRL.

It's not unrealistic, just maybe not your thing?

Warcraft has never been about "realism", but more what I'm referencing is that it just doesn't work, given how armor in the game is designed. Everything is built upon the illusion that armor *textures* are your "armor". With Kul Tiran males, that illusion is "dispelled", making your character look like he's wearing a spandex suit.

I'm not asking for an overhaul, just a shift to their design. Blood Elves, for example, were incredibly skinny in the TBC beta, but due to feedback, Blizzard made them a touch more muscular. For Kul Tirans, I'd like to see their bellies reined-in just a bit (and honestly, I could see beefing their chests up ever-so-slightly, but not a big deal).

Here's an example of them in some super bulky plate.

Looks pretty fine overall but their bellies with wrestling belts on them, especially from a side angle is very noticeable.

Edit: I like them a lot, just mostly am sad they can't be paladins.

No one has seen a strong man before I take it?

Gut is working as intended, no nerfs required.

While I don't agree with the people who're like "OMG Awful" because of their size, the limited facial options does suck.

Kul Tiran males are obviously custom created for us gay bears, duh. They've got the perfect body type for us. Thanks, Blizz! <3

Though I'll never figure out why they don't have a full beard option?!

Blizzard has said they only made em big and fat for a new skeleton. (aka so they can save time when they make Ogres playable)
