Jailer is good, Arbiter is evil

This is my prediction for SL... the big twist. Not much to base this on other than my gut feeling. Plus we already know the Arbiter determines where souls go when they die, so what if she's the one dumping them all into the Maw? She's just convinced everyone it's this mysterious Jailer who is actually opposing and trying to stop her. He attacks us in the Maw because he sees us as her agents.

Unfortunately, this would mean Sylvanas is good too.

Edit: Oh, I also think the Jailer is the smith who forged Frostmourn/Helm of Domination...

Let’s see how it plays out then.

seeing how hard Blizzard tries to make Sylvanas look like the misunderstood hero, i can see them doing something like this.

come 9.3, we have a cutscene with the big reveal of "OMG Sylavanas was never evil, who would habe guessed!?" and a smug-looking Sylvanas....

With this level of impeccable logic, I could see how people could come to the conclusion that Sylvanas is actually good, the world is actually flat, the Titans did The Sundering and Gnomes are not robots with the Curse of Flesh, but they're actually evolved rodents.

Not impossible. But that wouldn't really line up with Torghast, the Tower of the Damned being the expansion-long re-playable content. If the jailer is good why would be raiding his tower constantly throughout the expansion?

Nope....I think it's much more likely that the Jailer is, as stated, the overarching villain of this expansion. Any twists will be the ones already predicted where it turns out Sylvanas was playing the jailer in order to take his place, or somehow destroy the oblivion he rules over.

I'd be ok, with this, except it would turn into another 'but...but Sylvanas is gooood!' thing. The Arbiter looks kind of creepy tbh
I don't play WoW anymore smh.

i agree, how can a dude, holding most vicious bad guys in chains, be bad?
arbiter seems more like a tyrant figure, then jailer
    Shadowlands is real world
    The Maw is China
    The Jailer is China government
    Sylvanas is Blizz

I think it's stupid to label these entities as "good" or "evil". They are very ancient, possibly older than the very titans, they most likely are pure neutral and simply act based on the natural laws of the cosmos, not on any personal bias.
The Void. A force of infinite hunger. Its whispers have broken the will of dragons... and lured even the titans' own children into madness. Sages and scholars fear the Void. But we understand a truth they do not. That the Void is a power to be harnessed... to be bent by a will strong enough to command it. The Void has shaped us... changed us. But you will become its master. Wield the shadows as a weapon to save our world... and defend the Alliance!

    Yeah, like--

    .. Wait..

I could easily see this happening. With the way blizzard wants to make Sylvannas's motives to be mysterious, they could easily pull a dumb twist like that.

Well, we have no evidence of the contrary.
    Fact (because I say so): TBC > Cata > Legion > ShaLa > MoP > DF > BfA > WoD = WotLK
