Didn't they add it to cash shop also? Also opinions? What's best for you certainly isn't best for anyone else. I've used headless horseman mount... Since it was a thing. I like low profile not to flashy not stupid animation. But I'll whip out my unpainted mechastrider and flaunt it and call it the best and then make a thread about it if we can be fwends....

Don't care, I'm fine with the Horseman's mount. If people don't want the 6 month sub they can just buy it from the store, I got over all the store hate years ago.

I think this is false. Actually, no. I don't think this is false. I know this is false. I'm on the tail end of my 6-month subscription (I think it expires in August, IIRC) and I got the mount for free.

But the Venthyr mount is free from the campaign, not the store.

I mean considering that "best" is already highly subjective; IMO all the 4 covenant mounts are better. Yes the phoenix is super nice, but it's hardly as new of a concept as other mounts we are getting.

I find it decent but not that special, I prefer many other mounts over it that are available in the game.

This is the typical bullshit argument that is usually peddled by haters whenever a mount somehow tied to real life money gets released. While I enjoy my free loyalty mount I got as a gift with my sub, I don't consider it the best of 9.1. There's plenty of others I like more, like the armored horsies or hand mounts, which by the way the latter have much better mount special IMO than the bird. Btw, I don't really use the mount special animation that much, so it's whatever for me.

If I had to place the cash shop mounts in my top mounts it would probably be the rat and maybe the new one, but at like top 20ish place. People claiming that shop mounts are somehow objectively the best (while at the same time hating them) are one of those stupid disingenous arguments I really hate seeing. Just because it has a different model than other stuff in the patch doesn't automatically make it the best looking, nor the most prestigious, obviously.

It will be the same as all the other 6 month sub mounts, if it's released while you have an active 6 month sub, then you'll get it.

What is "best" aside do you like a game that does things like this?
I personally find it nonsense that 2nd class citizens can exist.
Life is already unfair: why bring it into a game?
