Title is misleading. This is NOT a new class. It's just new customization options for blood elves.

"Elf Customization" not specifically blood elf. Probably available to night elves too, specifically the "Died At Teldrassil And Darkshore" ones.

I guess this is probably a response to the people that wanted to play as "Vampire Elves" or "San'layn" in BfA.. so they went with this option as a compromise.

this seems weird,would make more sense as an undead elf race or undead option,because lets face it,undead should have had this from day 1

Ehhh.. Customization works better because if they became an allied race then Blizz would have to hamstring together a new set of racial passives/abilities to give them. Especially ones that are different than what most other allied races got.

Honestly, I dont actually like it - the hood and belts are ok i guess, rest looks EXTREMELY generic, and dont think that gun fits it at all. But hey, entirely subjective, not arguing at all - I just dont like it.

The xmog appears to be separate, but clearly is themed very strongly - including the name of the set and pieces.

The transmog set looks like questing greens tbh xD

Customization option is neat. Also now, both of the biggest fanfics are in the game finally. Tinker fans can roleplay their gnome/goblin with engineering (as it was possible since day 1 and since cata respectively) and dark ranger fans can now finally be emo-elves on alliance AND horde.
