Do the Blood Elves have a "hero" right now?

Orcs: Thrall (duh), Garrosh, Drek'thar, Saurfang, Garona
    Trolls: Vol'jin
    Tauren: Baine, replacing Cairne, Hamuul
    Forsaken: Sylvanas (duh), Nathanos Blightcaller
Goblins: Gallywix is a special king of hero i guess, plus the gob squad and Mida
Humans: Varian, Turalyon, Tirion, Khadgar, Jaina, a million others
Dwarves: Muradrin, Magni, Moira, Falstad, Kudran, Vanndar
Gnomes: Mekkatorque is a cool gnome hero, even if hes the only one
Draenei: Velen, their immortal leader forever who saved them from the legion
    Worgen: Genn greymane, Crowley, Bloodfang
    Blood Elves: ???

So without Kaelthas there is.. ?

Poor Lor'themar. No one ever remembers him...

    Lorthemar'theron or w/e he's called?

  4. #4
    Just their leader, Lor'themar Theron.

And there's Koltira Deathweaver, although he's hardly their "hero".

What's the name of that Belf DK that you help escape from the Scarlet people in the DK starting area, and then he becomes a big player in the Icecrown quests?

That's the only big Belf I can think of. I'm pretty sure there's also a Horde questline that involves a good Belf character in the Badlands.

Edit: Yeah, Koltira. But yeah, he's not really a "hero" in the sense.

And I'm pretty sure the OP doesn't mention Lor'themar because he has literally done nothing in 3 expansions...
Why am I back here, I don't even play these games anymore

The problem with the internet is parallel to its greatest achievement: it has given the little man an outlet where he can be heard. Most of the time however, the little man is a little man because he is not worth hearing.

Probably Halduron Brightwing. Rommath is walking on very thin ice, Liadrin has been neutered, and Lor'themar is... well.

Not really, since sister windrunners dont really count as blood elves. Lorthemar is barely the ruler now that kael'thas is gone. Lady Liadrin would but she plays no role in current content.

Lady Liadrin could be considered a "hero" too.
she didn´t do that much aside from making peace with A´dal, but she is most likely a strong and wise leader.
In the end the winner is still the last man standing.

Just cause they don't indirectly work for that faction or are the same race doesn't mean they can't be regarded highly. I'd say that Kael'thas is still sort-off a hero due to his efforts of saving his people, not to mention the Windrunner sisters. Although they're untrusty with Sylvanas especially.

Lor'themar Thelron (or however it's spelt), pretty sure he's a huge deal for blood elfs as he has helped keep the blood elfs together after Kael'thas left them. Holding together an entire race through a pretty insanely hard time for them (suffering from the magic withdrawal) is no small feat, pretty sure that gives him a huge amount of credit and respect.

Well Turalyon and Liadrin are going to make a reappearance in the next xpac, Vengeance of the Void So there's your hero for you

Barely? Lor'themar's extremely well-suited for the job, mate. Blizzard may have done a crappy job at showing it, but he took a nation on the verge of collapse and, as the regent while Kael was off doing lines of mana off a shivarra's stomach, basically rebuilt elven society from the ground up with little if any support until Sylvanas dispatched a regiment of Forsaken troops to reinforce the Ghostlands and keep the Scourge bottled into Duskholme. From there, he managed to give the blood elves their metaphorical fire back by adopting a pro-elven supremacy stance and through the combined efforts of himself, Liadrin, Halduron, and Rommath, pulled the blood elves all the way back from the border between survival and extinction even after Kael's betrayal.

Like I said. Blizzard may not have done a good job of showing it, but Lor'themar's currently one of the most talented leaders out there, in terms of politics and bolstering and leading his people if not by way of wasting his time and damaging his economy with battlefield exploits.
Be seeing you guys on Bloodsail Buccaneers NA!

Nothing's confirmed, it's confirmed as much as the people who say aliens are fake.

I'm not saying it's truth, but marking it out completely is a bit light-headed.
