It works the opposite way too. Whenever I tell people that Atlas Shrugged is one of the best books I've ever read, they automatically assume I'm some sort of Tea Party/libertarian/anarchist. I'm actually a little left of center politically. I don't understand why there's this "all or nothing" attitude when it comes to this.
