What IS it? Did you NOT read the article?
It helps up my proffession skills, discontinued armor is being made available, alts gain experience for doing it, there's an ARENA DEATHMATCH thing like in STV that gives rewards (rewards probably for level 85s! Relevant GEAR!) and of course it gives people fluff stuff like pets and etc.
There's nothing epic in this. It's for kids and casuals players. It's a zone designed for them. They are like : "Dancing bears, games, cannon..." Cmon...it's a crap event
ARENA DEATMATCH! D: Why does no one like this????
Lemme just remind u that casuals completely outnumber non-casuals and they are very thankful for the few things they get. Hardcore people are always hungry for more content and NEVER satisfied when they get it. Honestly the casuals deserve these things. They didn't get anything for like 3 patches! The zandalari instances were too hard for most of them, dailies are kind of a mixed bag as only few people, casual or not, enjoy them.

Pulling numbers out of your ass to try and prove a point makes me laugh.
This as I said will make those that plays for other reasons then me, you and mr.hardcore raider happy and give them something more to do, I give Blizzard props for actually adding content for others then just the whiny, sel centered raiders who thinks everything should revolve around them.
And as for content, we will get content for 4.3, so I'm not to worried.
I just dont see why it's so wrong that they add something for the RP players(they will love this) and the extremely casuals once in a while.
Uh easy rep inc ... leaves just the lockboxes to be a real grind then, huh
Anyways, stuff sounds nice. Always looking forward to new mounts and pets :-)
Want. I hope I can get my Vengeful Gladiator's Longbow from this.
1% care about it now (though that 1% is your opinion I see no sources for that percentage) They are remaking it so that more than *1%* will care about it, a monthly hub, with stuff to do, things to collect, content for those that don't focus all their time to raiding, there are many different types of people that play this game, you only want them to give content to those that raid or PvP? (I'm guessing)
Never knockback the fun stuffs, it's what makes the game enjoyable for a huge percentage of players, I love DMF, (heck I play on the realm DMF) and am buzzing that it is getting a make over.
I wish they could get this creative with everything else, but hey I would be willing to take a look at this, seems like the most fun of all things they have put into cata so far!...to bad its 4.3 and aka 4-6 months away
I'm not saying hardcore raiders wont like this either, I'm sure you're not the only one. Just tried to point out that there is actually room for this kind of content because there are a lot of people who loves this kind of stuff, and loads of people who only play because of this kind of stuff.
I for one am happy to see that Blizzard is finally paying attention to the lack of world content and doing stuff like this. The real question is though, how long will this stay relevant or will it be reduced to a level of 15 minutes / day stuff after first day (aka, boring waste of time) and then only for one week of a month. Or can we do stuff in unlimited amount for as long as we want.
Great, like the Winterspring Frostsaber, another epic rep grind gets handed to the masses for doing a few quests.
Can't wait to see what those new recipies are all about.

I hear ya, though I tend not to really expect anything else these days.. usually the first couple pages are from people overjoyed by whatever news is given, then the sour pussies start yelling, opinions are fine and all, but jesus, can't people just be glad we are getting new stuff to do, and if you don't fancy it, then stop trying to ruin everyone elses enjoyment ;/
Why are people so damn negative about everything? I'm not a kid, I think this looks really fun. I know a lot of people are going to use it. I'm really excited to see this come to fruition.
And really, do people honestly think that if the team who did this hadn't done it, we'd suddenly have four more bosses in the final raid and two extra 5-mans? No. They would have worked on a different thing like this. How likely is it that these people even have experience designing PvE encounters? Why do people act like Blizzard consists of five people...
Anywho, this looks really awesome and I'm hyped for 4.3. I haven't raided in a month now, so it'll be pretty fun to have a new event to play in.
There are so many frivolous things in this world.
HOLY SHIT.. I am excited.. so excited for 4.3..
