Are mounts the same across the 2 factions?

In terms of organic mounts, I specifically remember a taxi mount in Alderaan that was a weird manta-whale like thing, I don't remember the name. But it flapped its flipper-wings and you rode a chair on its back, so I guess that counts. I doubt its a buyable mount though.

But one example disproves the rule of no organic mount-like things I guess.

I believe all the land speeders are level 40 now. There used to be one that was at 25 (the green one), but they fixed it in the last patch to also be level 40

They already talked about adding them multiple times. Fans are going to asking for dewbacks,tauntauns, veractyl, as one if the top requested things til they get it.

tell that to my car, or my computer, I've had my hands in them, building and fixing them, and I am quite attached to both.
