Really surprised with this one. I was sure it would be the standard amarican hero movie that youve seen 100s of times before
with the cliche love scenes etc etc.

I was wrong.

This was fun, good acting, ok story, awesome action and overall very good atmosphere.

I would recommend it!

Day of the Dead 7/10. Entertaining and thematic enough, although the main characters boyfriend was annoying. Still so gristly that it is unwatchable at some points (for me), but I think the previous two films in the series were put together better.

Funny, Great special effects, decent storyline, decent acting, great mash-up of all the different super-heroes's worlds, no over-dramatization

The only conplaints I had with it are (and this might be a SPOILER to some):
-I missed Nathalie Portman as the girl in love with Thor. (Am a fan of Nat and with the end of the movie Thor, I was waiting to see them reunited) Luckily, they did the second-best thing....involve her in the story without showing her....sure beats casting someone else in her role....that would be SOOO BAD!!!
-The Nuclear missile being fired on the city made no sense....why not directly fire it in the portal? Nuke the city and then what? Then more villains appear through the still open portal and take over the rest of the world. :S

VERY MINOR complaint...more a petty opinionated quirk
-Thor needed more screentime....Thor and IronMan are sooo cool.... surprisingly the Hulk was awesome in this movie too (I hated the last 2 movies of the Hulk)

ya, it was one of the better horror films as of late, but still didn't completely impress me / stay in my mind for more than an hour or two. compare it to some of the older generation horror movies and it's a wash.
