I went 20 years without ever brushing my hair (for the most part. Usually get up, shower, and go to school/work). Now that I'm trying to grow it out, I'm blow-drying/brushing it daily
Think I might need a hair cut :P
Just found this on my iPhone.
Sober as you can tell.

So sick of having long hair and it's fiiinaaalllyyy gone! Now I just need to work on that acne.. >_>
Cave Cave Deus Videt
Long hair was cool *shrugs*
Although it is a hassle, i know.
Acne... eat less carbs and sugary things and more veggies/protein, a lot of acne i found has to do with blood sugar, worked for me and many friends so cant hurt to try.
A good way to find out if what you have is related to blood sugar is to provoque an outbreak, eat a lot of sugary things for a whole day and see for the next week if the acne gets crazy, if it does then voila, it is sugar or at least very aggravated by it.
That is the diet approach, then i have also found that vitamin B complex is really good for it, specially nicotinamide (b3 amide) finding a creme with topical nicotinamide over 2% concentration could be tried.
A lot of the stuff you can buy at stores is rather crappy, it fights the infections of the pores which is ok, but the problem is beyond that.
B3 helps a lot with regeneration and repair also acts to calm the skin down.
Change pillows daily, dont use a razor to shave, get an electric shaver.
You want to reduce irritation as best as you can.
That is all i can tell ya really, it should go away with age but might as well control things that exacerbate it and finding out what works for you
I was rather unlucky, i didnt have teenage acne i only started having it at 21, 25 now and still get outbreaks if i dont mind the sugar.
Edit: skin takes about 40 days to renew, dont rush and dont get frustrated if you dont see immediate results, with the nicotinamide i was seeing results after a week though, simply because it calms down the skin
