Yes. And he should atone by self-flagellation. While being stoned to death by an angry mob of reasonable people that can't handle that homosexuality exists.

If you are not aware how much that is important for children, we have nothing to discuss.
Well thats some christian bullshit if i've ever heard it.

There's zero reason why it should be banned. Never did favor government paternalism, left or right.

My only real complaint would be if it seemed like a shoehorned thing (I thought Soldier 76's "reveal" felt that way tbh), but I honestly never liked Arthur and, therefore, have no grasp on the character in question (and, of course, lolcontinuity. It's a kid's show). I don't think that applies here, however. I don't think there's anything at all wrong with having a gay character, but I find it cringey when writers obsessively focus on it. The Loud House handled it excellently, imo, and I'd like to see other mediums follow suit.

Soldier 76... a casual mention of a guy "omg that's shoehorned in!!!"

So how should it have been revealed?'

“Vincent… I haven’t thought about him in years,” Ana said. “Still keeping a candle lit for him?”
Jack shook his head. “Nothing like that.”
“You’ve never looked in on him? You must have been curious. All the surveillance power in the world. I bet Gabe would have put a Blackwatch agent on him if you asked,” Ana said.
    Jack glared at her.
    “Okay, touchy subject.”
Jack laughed. “He got married. They’re very happy. I’m happy for him.”

“Vincent deserved a happier life than the one I could give him.” Jack sighed. “We both knew that I could never put anything above my duty. Everything I fought for was to protect people like him… That’s the sacrifice I made.”
“Relationships don’t work out so well for us, do they?” Ana said, unconsciously running her thumb over where her wedding ring used to be.
Tell me... how is this shoehorned in?

He fears the kids will outrank him in masculinity. I mean, is there anything more manly than going to bed with a bear?

That's some really inconsistent rules you got here. On one hand you promote manly men that need to act manly in every single aspect of their lives (lest they get infected by the gay). On the other, you teach your niece that a grown (and manly) man still gets in trouble with his mother over his personal choices and has to take such an outcome into consideration. Shouldn't manly men that follow the rules of manhood be more assertive than that?

Replace "Vincent" with "Victoria", change the pronouns, nothing else needs to change. So unless it would be "shoehorned in" if it were Victoria, making that claim when it's Vincent is homophobic horseshit.

if people want bama to change they need to pressure the NCAA to ban all Bama teams from the college sports post-season until better laws are made for stuff like abortions and equal rights. Also ensure any student athlete can transfer without losing eligibility or taking a penalty. that will get them to change things.

That's easy. You just burn them at the stake and tell your child how sinful they are as they burn.

I never said anything homophobic and you're flaming me by insinuating I did. It's ok keep it up I will just keep reporting

To my mind, Soldier was, in personality, a rip off of Clint Eastwood. Obviously it's not a logical premise that because Clint isn't gay, Soldier therefore isn't, but it's difficult, for me, to break the connection, and ergo to me personally it feels shoehorned (that, in itself, probably being a poor choice of words).

No offense intended. Merely a personal opinion based off personal observations and associations.

I totally agree with Alabama's decision (not on abortion). What the hell is wrong with you to think that it would be ok? I have nothing against gays. Being gay is not how things are supposed to be, but we still have the right to be gay because we have rights. Thats it.
TV shows have a huge impact on children and pretty much dictates how should things be. We hella know how tv shows/media can ravage people, it is the main cause of anorexia and more.

If this bothers you, I'll also note that nothing requires you to hold homophobic views. You can just, like, stop being homophobic. It's easy. But whining about it when people point it out? That's an attempt to avoid taking responsibility for your own position and what it means, and that's not gonna fly.
Same sex marriage is a hot button topic according to society. Just like gun, abortion, etc. It has nothing to do with MY feelings. Why don't you stay on topic instead of baiting me?

Gay marriage isn’t a hot button topic this is like saying they shouldn’t show interracial couples.
Totally not a hot button topic, that's why there isn't a state banning a cartoon over it. /s
