Might be one of those burn the tape games. Was really hoping the Saints would beat the 49ers this week. Didn't feel good about this game coming into it.

OLine play is much improved but Goff is still Goff. Having communication issues with his receivers, but it's nice to see Cooks back.

Nice to see some actual defense after the debacle this morning, though Pete kicking that field goal was pretty lame.

Steelers have the Bills and Ravens yet to go. Titans have two matchups with the Texans, plus a date with the Saints.
It'll be tough, but if the Titans scrape out one win yet and the Steelers drop those two games and the Titans are in.
If they somehow sweep the Texans that gives them the division I'm pretty sure.

It's funny because what the Cowboys really need to do is fire their entire special teams, starting with Keith O'Quinn. Their dead last, or practically dead last, in every meaningful category for special teams. It's one of the main culprits for their 6-7 record. They have a punter that can only net them 30 yards a kick, a FG kicker thats missed 10 FG's in 13 games, and a kick return game that basically doesn't exist. And all that translates into the offense constantly having to drive 75 yards and the opposing offense consistently starting their drives in excellent field position because of either missed FG's or punts that cant travel further than 40 yards.
Having said that, Forbath will be an upgrade by just default. It was cruel of the Cowboys to have kept Maher on the roster for this long.
Congratulations to Jason Garret on his now inevitable contract extension. </s>

Can't wait to see how my Eagles fuck this comeback up.
Sounds like I missed out on a super boring NFC Least snoozefest.

Yea...I won't argue the Saints are clearly miles above anything in the NFC East, but the rest of the South is pretty much on par with the East.
Fun fact (from ESPN), the Eagles were 1 receiver injury, last night, from Josh McCown having to go in as WR. They're still bad, but man the injuries. Wentz hasn't been his best this season, but I'm not sure what the hell he's supposed to do with that.

I guess it's that time for some Patriots drama. Hopefully it is resolved quickly.
I'm the root of all that is evil, yeah, but you can call me cookie.

Looks like the Patriots are admitting to the fact that the film crew "inappropriately filmed the Bengals sideline."
Their new line is: "We have nothing to do with them! It's just an independent contractor hired to make BTS videos for the website!"
So then, what's the motivation for a doc crew to spend the entire first quarter, 8 minutes of play footage, filming the Bengals sideline, focusing on the coaches?
100% agree. Wentz's mechanics and progressions have gone to complete shit since Reich and DeFillipo left. And I love Doug's aggression, but he needs a guy like Reich to support it.
Carson Walch, Press Taylor and Mike Groh (who got fired by his own dad...) are complete shit. That's what happens when you promote internally without putting any effort into retooling your coaching staff. Peterson did an amazing job with his original staff, but put seemingly no effort into the current iteration (Duce aside--who still isn't ready to be an OC, but is doing a great job--I hope they don't take the easy way out here).
