I wouldn't look to the House as too much of a bellwether. What happens with Senate Republicans really all comes down to McConnell and may not matter anyway. IMO the trial portion of the impeachment is really going to be more about establishing precedent as to whether or not they can convict and remove a president retroactively. And since Biden doesn't want it to interfere with his first 100 days, it may be postponed.

Removing someone retroactively is bs and serves no consequence. It's just a big F U and does not mitigate any further damage he is sure to cause in the coming week. You can't pretend he wasn't there 'til the end. Symbolism does nothing here and he will have the last laugh. Biden needs to forfeit his ego to expel him immediately because it's what's best for the country.
