I haven't played in a long ass time since I've been testing XIV pretty extensively for the past 3 months or so.

Anyways, did they end up keeping that janky repair system they implemented a while back? That was kind of why I stopped squeezing this game into my free time.

No, they kept it...and are going to be expanding on it. Red5 said its the mechanic that their entire economy is based around...

I keep hearing biotechs are kinda OP. Supposedly their gun deals really good damage on top of their ability to heal. I think I'll try biotech in case it gets nerfed.

Recons are fairly boss when it comes to self healing. They're main weapon does decent damage even at stock and every kill (even if its just an assist) nets you a HoT of 100+HP.

Am I the only one with crazy ridiculous loading times? I mean, I've had loading screens for 3+ minutes. I've only played for maybe an hour and a half, counting the tutorial, but the loading screens have me completely uninterested at this point. I could deal with 45-60 seconds, but I can't wait for 3-5 minutes every time I load somewhere, I've never played any other game that has anything even remotely close to that, even high performance games (Crysis 3, for example) has load times under 30 seconds on this PC, but man Firefall just takes forever.

Game seems interesting from what I've seen, which isn't much granted, the PvE seems incredibly boring because all gun PvE games are boring, but the PvP was interesting albeit kind of unbalanced from what I saw, but that can be easily fixed since it's still in beta.

I am actually looking for a good guild for most friday evenings/nights. Do they have room for semi-noobs? (Are you a representative of this guild?) I'm not stupid, but I'm new. Still exploring the possibilities and options. I would love to join something that doesn't require me to be online the whole week, but Fridays are perfect.

Willing to get up to a maximum of two additional warframes if that's a requirement.

That said, how do I find resources these days (like, locations on which I can thump)? I'm looking for my Thumping Hammer mission, but I can't even find a mission interface, let alone my hammer mission :/

It's not quite a guild so much as it's an organization.

You can use the base dreadframe I think.

If you have sync your sin with all 12 towers, which gets you a free reusable glider, then you can open you map and hit tab to see where all the resources are zone by zone.

Then you just grab your scan hammer and go find it.

As long as people realize that it's an ingame organization, rather than one that needs to be one irl, I don't mind what they want to call it. Unless you're referring to multiple armies being able to join this organization as a part of their weekly routine, but not actually "join" them.

Nah, it appears my Hammer mission is gone and I didn't have a hammer anymore, I guess due to a few character resets throughout the years, but I bought one for 500 at the girl close to the ehm..crafting station. So I'm happy now

tryed some other classes , its just totaly unbalanced.. lol ^^

competetif pvp? yeah if you play the same class maybe :P



now if only i would not aim like shit this would be totaly awesome :P

You should probably watch some professional matches. It's not 5 electrons vs 5 electrons.

No one would be able to score a point in jetball if if weren't for assault frames or mammoths and dragons.

Or you are just good with electron. Everyone has a play style that best suits them.

try out the sniper..

less dmg if not a headshot , in melee getting raped... 1 shot an hour :>

Nighthawk doesn't have a charge to it's shot and can kill squishy classes with a single shot.
Close range is when you switch to your SMG or shotgun.

Besides, most people who recon in pvp use the accord recon which uses the r39 rifle.
