Would you Transmogrify Legendary weapons if you could?

In a way I understand why Legendaries are restricted from transmogrification, if masses of people are running around with them it does kind of cheapen them as a whole but I'm not entirely sure this would happen if they were allowed. Personally I wouldn't use a Legendary just for the sake of it, I may use one for a while if it happened to look good with the gear I'm currently wearing though.

If you were able to Transmog Legendary weapons, would you actualy do so?


To be clear, I meant change the looks of your Epic/Blue/Green weapons into that of Legendaries, not change the Legendary into something else

I think the only legendaries I would mog would be the glaives on my rogue. The bow isn't bad, but I like Golden Bow better.

Legendaries are just that legendary. If it were up to me there would only be 1 of each legendary ingame, 1 wielder per item because thats what they were meant to be. Rags mace, there is 1 of those, rag is the sole wielder of his mace, not multiple minions, there for only 1 mace should be obtained per server, obviously the warglaves and the new daggers are a set so they are considdered 1 legendary. and NO i would not transmog a legendary because it wouldnt be legendary, isnt that blizz point to obtaining them.

I can understand them not wanting you to be able to transmog random weapons to look like legendaries, but I wish it at least worked the other way- making legendaries look like other weapons. I have so many awesome staves I'd rather use than Dragonwrath.

I would actually like to be able to CHANGE my current legenday. I persoanlly think there are cooler staff models then dragonwraith. So i can understand somewhat but still disagree not allowing people to change items to look like legendaries. But we spent hte time and so did our guild i should be able to change the look of my legendary if i want to.

Imo you should be allowed to do it if you got the appropriate feat of strength at the appropriate time. (glaives/thori'dal during tbc, val'anyr/shadowmourne during wrath, wrath of tarecgosa/fangs of the father during cata. Vanilla weapons are out because achievements were only introduced with the wrath patch at the end of tbc) They've done this for the vanilla pvp gear so I think it could be extended to legendaries too.

From all legendaries aviable in game i only pity Thunderfury for not being able to be used in transmogrify. This weapon design is so amazing that i would actually dedicate some of my spare time to MC runs if only i could use it as a model. See no reason whatsoever why they implemented such a restriction on it.

P.S. After giving it a second thought i also think Warclaves are pretty close to TF epicness wise and it would be fun to see ppls runing around with them again

Nope, mostly because Thunderfury, Shadowmourne and Sulfuras don't go with my current mogging set.

But also because everyone and his mum would be using one, I'd be more unique if I continued to use Restored Archeus and green 2h sword that has a chance to drop off Cataclysm dungeon trash (that shit took me longer to get than Sulfuras and Shadowmourne combined).
