I just wish, once, that there would a be a good game on Saturday morning. Apparently, everyone works Saturday mornings so they don't show games at noon worth a crap.

If this keeps up, does Stanford jump OSU? And where does Baylor factor into all of this. Their offense is legit (pending test against non-B12 opponents)

They absolutely should. tOSU hasn't played anyone. Stanford would have. The Utah loss hangs heavy but I'd still rank them ahead of the Buckeyes due to the quality wins against UCLA and Oregon. Not a simple decision though.

Baylor should jump tOSU if they come through these next three games clean. That's a given.

Stanford is just too physical for these Ducks. Oregon will need to score quickly because Stanford has held onto the ball for 20 of the 30 minutes this half.

You mean for week's-end rankings? Doubtful, and certainly not in the human polls. Remember, Stanford's sitting at #6 in the Harris and Coaches' behind #5 Baylor (ESPN uses the BCS rankings to gild the lily). Buckeyes are off this week, Baylor's stomping OU, and I seriously doubt voters are going to ignore the Utah loss at this point in time just because tOSU has a comparatively soft schedule.

Yeah, Ducks aren't looking like the wanted to show up tonight. Not sure what the fuck is going on - highly doubtful they pull this out.

It's over. Ducks might get another touchdown, but it won't matter. I'm just speechless.

At least the FG block gives them something nice for the highlight reel.

I just got home. Is Oregon losing because they're playing a team with a defense, or are they just screwing the pooch?

They are just screwing the pooch. And it's over.

Oregon has been its own worst enemy all night, on both sides of the ball. Turnovers, lots of stupid penalties, not converting or executing. Stanford was ready to play, Oregon looked like they didn't study for a final.

well there goes any chance oregon had of a NCG. you know, they cry and cry and cry about not getting to a NCG but every year they always blow it.

Oregon screwed the pooch hardcore. Mariota looked shook all night and apparently had a bum knee even going into the game which led to his lack of running. They held our run game to a halt.

Why does Jay Stricherz still have a job? I'm all for letting refs have some bad calls but Pac-12 refs are. so. fucking. bad. That PI call on the pick? Such bullshit.

go figure big 10. continue to protect scUM why don't you.
Lewan yanks the facemask of a player laying on the ground, completely out of the play, and also goes pushing and pulling on other players face masks after the whistle, and at halftime was escorted off the field by the refs so he wouldn't cause anymore issues, and he doesn't get suspended? Biased as hell.

I'm a number one Oregon fan, and I couldn't have put it better myself. Two years in a row we stumble to Stanford and take ourselves out of the NCG title. Would have been nice to be the team that kept the Crystal Ball Trophy . . . .

FSU is doing cartwheels right now. I'm am dying to know if Stanford will skip over OSU in the BCS.

In their defense, they lost to Stanford. Not, like...Utah.

I was pulling for the Ducks this week, and I feel your pain, but I wouldn't validate his petty bashing. No Oregon fan with even a tenuous grasp on reality is sitting there "crying and crying" about not reaching the NCG. Oregon certainly earned the trip in 2011 and just barely came up short against a good SEC team sporting the Heisman winner.

Besides, in order to find an unbeaten Michigan State team with a recognized national championship you'd have to travel back in time to the Truman administration.

It won't matter, really. At present rate, those two will face off in the Rose Bowl.

Not much going on today before the LSU-'bama game. The only relevant thing is a six pack I have riding on the Nebraska-Michigan game with my U of M fanboy buddy.

As a University of Buffalo alum, I couldn't be more delighted with the way their MAC slate has gone. They probably have the MAC defensive player of the year in Khalil Mack and I think Branden Oliver should finish second on the offensive side.
