Most Fast Paced Damage Dealing Class?

I am still struggling to find a class to make my main, but I like the aesthetics and style of every class. What I guess it comes down to is the damage rotation, and how fast it is. I've played a Jedi Sentinel and have been enjoying the mechanics and speed, but I've been wondering if other classes/specs have faster and more fun combat, mainly Shadow/Assassin, Sniper/Gunslinger, or Bounty Hunter. In WoW my two favorites were my fury warrior and elemental shaman, both fast paced dpsers, so I'm trying to find that again

Sniper/Gunslinger appear to be cast time based combat, snipe being 1.5 seconds, Ambush being 2.5. And they rely heavily on being stationary, in cover. If you like mobile and high-paced *ahem* "button mashing" then avoid.

Jedi sentinel/ sith marauder are pritty fast paced. Also Powertech BH/ trooper version using many instants

I'm playing a Sniper, and they do a lot of damage, but they're a slow class. Inquisitors are a bit faster, but still quite slow depending on your spec.
I think Assassin/Shadow are quite fast-paced though.

I have to second the sentinel/marauder. Despite me strongly disliking the idea of dual weilding light sabers the actual gameplay was quite fun.

I will be playing a Jedi Sentinel when I purchase the game. That's what I played in beta (only to level 16 ish) but between that and the sniper, it's the one I enjoyed the most.

The fun thing about Jedi Shadow is that it has a great tanking spec that's a hell of a lot of fun to play, and that spec (Kinetic Combat) is also the highest DPS output for a tank class in the game.

I LOVE it. Makes questing real fun... not having to stop and heal after every encounter.

Imho IA Operative ( Concealment Spec )seems like a safe bet. Now at earlier levels you wont have as much melee manuevers but thats easily compensated by instant (close-to-mid range) fillers like...overload shot, frag grenade and corrosive dart. Once youre able to get to 26-28 your arsenal really starts once you talent your lacerate to basically be free to execute you can continue to smash your target with little need for fillers so long as corrosive dart is up or (lvl 40) your acid blade dot is on the target..besides stealth and combat stealth and rezz as well as a 60 sec cc and plenty of lockouts, knockdowns, and stuns makes ia op the ideal twitch fix. and if you throw cybertech into the mix you open up some pretty sick grenades which compliment your aoe and increase your control especially on more than one target. hope this helps : )

Try a Trooper Commando or Bounty Hunter Mercenary. They have rather high damage outputs. My commando companion is constantly KS'ing me.
