as far as i'm concerned, anything not in the red is "down south"

it's a source of great amusement when there's things like local rugby derbies going on, and you ask someone the result and they'll be like "bloody jam eaters won", then you have to know if they're a whitehaven or workington guy, to know who the jam eaters are
we typically do it as a joke insult, but i don't particularly like whitehaven anyway so .. /shrug

we don't use all of them, and it varies town by town, but when i raided, i had to rein myself in on teamspeak so that people would understand me
(though i often got the women of the guild telling me they liked my voice .. a curious situation, but helpful when i was raid leader )
