And I just discovered Mordin's datapad.
I've gone from crying to resigning to the fact I've caused damage to my lungs from laughing.
Waiting for Rule 34 on this one.
Ex-Mod. Technically retired, they just won't let me quit.
Joker's story is the best. Its so Seth.

Alright, the Volus pizza dude, "uncle urdnot is back in town. . ."
I can't stop laughing
Like seriously, when I heard Wrex say that in the middle of combat, I had to pause and walk away I was laughing so hard.

I think it is safe to say that this DLC is currently #1 on the list of the most important DLCs to own for any game ever, period.
We dream, we dream.
Took me a while to figure that out, but answer was annoyingly simple.
On the computer that lets you invite them to party there are 3 options. middle is mail, right is "invite to party". Left one is "invite upstairs to my apartment"
Edit: obviously you can only invite some of them. others you will have to meet somewhere in the new citadel DLC zone. You will probably need to make a few return trips to the apartment and back to "refresh" the list and meet more people.
We dream, we dream.
There's no invite to apartment option in the list, even for ones that have said they wanted to come to my apartment. EDI, for xample, said "Reply, and we can meet at the new apartment" but there's no option to invite her to the apartment. D:
.... Okay, never mind. Now I feel I qualify for a Darwin Award. Thought it was in the list for the invitations, not on the actual main screen. So used to ignoring that left button because it's usually just the combat tutorial things. >_<
Yup. As i said, it took me a while to figure out. I was prepared to google it when i accidentally found it.
Piece of advice - during party, after you're done talking with a "group", move away from them then move back in - you can "listen in" on more ocnversations. These are all quite amusing :> Especially drunk tali having hots for Garrus. That cracked me up.
We dream, we dream.
Shepard's new dance moves are going to be giving me nightmares.
I'm calling him Uncle Urdnot from now on.

That, I knew about. Just couldn't figure out how to invite the individuals up to my apartment.
Just broke James' pull-up record because I'm a masochist. lol

Also, when I make my billions and have more money than I know what to do with, I am building myself a replica of Shepard's apartment. That place is amazebutts.

Alright, i'm unfortunately done for the night, unless I want to sleep through work tomorrow, but I took two screenshots along the way that greatly amused me. Shouldn't be very spoilerific, but I'll just give the links:

Yeah, I'm not even finished and this is the best ME DLC ever.

This DLC perfected the game. I only wish it wasn't the end for the Normandy crew...... =*(
"I just wanted them to hand us our award! But they were just talk!, talk!, talk!......" - Wrathion
Why aren't they allowed? Because they are against the law. Which means that AI are outlawed. Joker's lie wasn't challenged because he has a legal right to a Mobility assistance mech because of his syndrome. Anyone who has Vrolik Syndrome would be allowed to bring a mech onto the Citadel. Him not being questioned has nothing to do with him coming from the Normandy. EDI was smuggled aboard the Citadel.
Why would they check something out if they have no way of detecting if its an AI or not? Just because EDI was smuggled in, an AI was stealing credits from a casino, and the Catalyst AI went undetected isn't proof that they can't determine if something is an AI or not. It is proof that their abilities are not foolproof and that AI are capable of evading detection measures. If they suspect that certain Mech has AI on board - they can check it out and that's it.
If you have to lie about something in order to get it past security then you smuggled that object. Her Mech body was not smuggled - it was allowed officially to enter. yes Joker lied about HIS need for a Mech, and that EDI's body is that Mech - that is hardly smuggling. Not to mention mechs are not illegal, there's no need to smuggle one.
What technology does it take to use a metal sword? What technology does it take to use an omni-tool sword?Technology is all it takes for something to be high tech.
No we were discussing if low tech weapons is an indication if a time period pre-dates omni-tools and other Mass Relay technology. Monomolecular blades wouldn't be that expensive to make anyways because the Illusive man wouldn't be spending that much money on each and every phantom. The cost to produce a dozen blades for phantoms would be to time intensive and cost prohibitive if it is a rare thing in 2183.And I'd like to point out that we were discussing the COST here.
Just because a object is made through high tech means doesn't mean that object is high tech. A synthetic diamond isn't high tech. A horse created through artificial insemination isn't high tech. A bat made through a lathe rather then by hand isn't high tech. A chair made by a machine rather then a human isn't high tech.
You are confusing "made through high tech methods" with "is high tech". There is a huge difference.
I think you are confused. I'm not saying that you can't brawl with omni-tool weapons. The fact that they are not using omni tool weapons isn't proof that they are in a time period that predates omni-tools or humanity's discovery of Mass Relays. Just as there are people in real life that use muskets and black powder weapons to hunt with when modern weapons exist. Or those that still use bow and arrows when guns exist. That's a lot of assumptions not reasons. They both couldn't afford them? Seems weird even for one of them - since it's basically a mobile phone of ME. They both at the same time prefer metallic weapons? They are brawling with metal weapons? Why can't they brawl with omni-tools? I sure could in Citadel DLC!
So she was forced to relinquish a weapon and take another weapon! while he just don't have omni-tool or don't like omni-tool? That's even more unlikely.
Yes ther ecould be many reasons. But the most real is the most simple. They just don't have omni-tool technology yet (or lost it - I gave two versions - pre-omni-tool or post-reaper) or it is in prototype stages.
Every thing you've labeled as an assumption is a reason. It is a possible reason for why they might not be using omni-tools. And why the lack of omni-tools doesn't mean they are in a time period prior to omni-tools. Another possible reason is that they are biotics. The Biotic classes in ME3 don't use an omni-weapon for melee but use their fist surrounded by Biotic energy.

So they could just be biotics that carry a back up low-tech weapon. They could use that weapon as a focus point for their biotic energy in order to amplify its deadliness. All it takes is an imagination and an open mind to find a viable, believable, and valid reason for why they are not using omni-tool based weapons.

You know a community is bad when moderators lock a thread because "...this isnt the place to talk about it either seeing as it will get trolled..."
It just kind of dawned on me that it's over. I feel so empty inside knowing I'll never see those characters in new situations again. I mean there is ME4, but I have doubts it will live up to its predecessor.
I have so many feels right now.
