Oh so right after the frozen lake? or am I thinking of the wrong part?
Well it´s not that big of a promise that the first mission of DA3 will have a bigger map than all of DA2 combined because let´s be honest DA2 had so few unique maps that it hurts. Everything in this game was the same map all over again and only the City was unique. Everything outside of the city was the same dungeons.

Either you are or I am. It was a ways into the game. I know I got Alexander for Hope (chapter 11 according to IGN).

I too think that the Story in DA2 was great. I also am along with you concerning the lack of different maps and the cinstant spawning of enemy hordes right next to you. Coupled with the cooldown on the Healing Spells you are in for some serious trouble on Hardcore or Nightmare since you will never have enough CC to control everything that goes at your more squishy squadmates. The companions were very illustrious. Fenris and Merrill are awesome for example.

Hmm, roughly in the order I played them

    Final Fantasy VI
    Chrono Trigger
(The SNES really validated itself to me on these games alone)
    Planescape: Torment
    Baldur's Gate 2
    Diablo 2
Neverwinter Nights (mostly on a persistent server)
    World of Warcraft
    Dragon Age: Origins
    Mass Effect as a series

Played a ton of other games, but these are the ones that keep making me replay them. I can still pick up FFVI at any time and enjoy the heck out of it.

I was pretty close to the end, I know that much. I'm pretty sure Alexander is the last Eidolon you get.

You'd be surprised how funny comments can be on YouTube and how many there are. That one is pretty funny. I could read comments like that all day.
    Statix will suffice.

Yeah I love Dragon Age and I also liked the story of D2 so I hope that DA3 will be an amazing game without the flaws of DA2 (namely the maps). It is one of the games I am looking forward to the most (1st is GTA5).

I am pretty optimistic about Dragon Age 3 and I hope that it turns out to be great At least BW recognized the flaws of DA2.

I think it's time to start a fresh thread [Megathread] Mass effect Next/4
All right, gentleperchildren, let's review. The year is 2024 - that's two-zero-two-four, as in the 21st Century's perfect vision - and I am sorry to say the world has become a pussy-whipped, Brady Bunch version of itself, run by a bunch of still-masked clots ridden infertile senile sissies who want the Last Ukrainian to die so they can get on with the War on China, with some middle-eastern genocide on the side

Eh I would wait until we actually have information on it. Heck, even this thread didn't start until about a month before ME3 launched.

Could do, but what can we really talk about in that thread. There's hardly any information about it.

Just finished ME2 again. I always feel kinda bad for the Collector General as the base explodes/gets irradiated. The way it reached up toward the image of Harbinger...

I know exactly what you mean. Recently played the final mission again and I can't help but feel bad for the guy.

Although not looking forward to the farming of resources.

Finally gains control over his own body only to be obliterated seconds later. Harbinger is such a troll. Here, your freedom slave, oh, but you are going to die.
