Hackers tore down a poster hung up by the Greek government?
i'm surprised they've actually hacked into something, seems like what, 12 month since they did anything to a website that wasn't a DDOS
Most of these "anonymous attacks" are probably instigated by the same people instigating all the anti-internet freedom stuff we been seeing lately...
just adding to the "cyber terrorism" hype giving them more justification to lock down the net /sigh
For what reason exactly? Pushing through austerity measures that the public don't like, but are necessary for Greece's short and long term future?
They hacked a Greek government website? Let me know when they do something productive, or at least interesting.
yeah, they flooded the websites with requests (DDOS), so they went offline, don't remember anything else being hacked, in regards with sota anyway
steam got hacked at some point, and possibly justin beibers site (though that might have been a DDOS too)
they also failed to kill facebook on november fifth?
they spout some bullshit about it being for justice etc so they can do what they please (didn't they flood an online games login servers or something so the people couldn't play?)
they're "for the people" while denying the people access to websites .. yay

Anonymous does useful things, LulzSec and Anonymous are not the same.
Please explain how you "blacklist subnets" to stop a DDOS? Last I checked (last week when I had to do it for a client) you nullroute the target because there's absolutely no other way to determine legitimate requests from those occurring via DDOS.
Also, in response to the thread, it's funny how people still think Anonymous is a "group."
