Which Race and Why?

Human or Norn. Human tends to be the safe choice if you want your character to look good so I'm leaning more towards them. Norn look pretty badass though.

My beta characters are gonna be (if they allow sylvari and asura) sylvari thief and asura mesmer (if not) human thief and human mesmer. When the game comes out i will have a Norn Warrior.

I don't really know, necromancer fits the human in my view, also, they've got a specific god for this, in the game lore.

Either asura or male norn. Certainly not human.

Depends on which profession I end up playing :S but most likely Human or Sylvari. Norn are two big, I don't like the way armor looks on Charr, and I like the Asura race but I like to be able to see my armor.

If I go Ele I will be a Sylvari, Thief a Human, Warrior a Human, but ranger or mesmer is a toss up.

I chose Norn because I enjoy playing races that represent northern cultures and also the fact that they are able to transform into different spirits.

Norn, unless their walking animation ends up feeling too clunky due to size. Like tauren.
