AMD FX 8150: $250CAD.
Intel Core i3 2100: $130CAD.
Comparison between the two: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/434?vs=289
The 2100 only has 2 cores with Hyper Threading (4 threads effectively), and trumps the 8150 in a great deal of things. The only areas the 8150 significantly outperforms the 2100 in is heavy computing, usually rendering or some other form of production work.
red panda red panda red panda!
For just Diablo 3, even a Pentium G620 would be a better choice than the 8150.
red panda red panda red panda!
It should be shipping by today if not I'm going to punch someone -.-
So I can't really change it anymore /cries
...Alcatraz exactly how much did you pay for all that? Those parts are sending off alarm bells in my head.

They won't be compatible, however.
Not sure if there's a newer version of this;

You can crossfire a 6850 with a 6870. Heck, you might even be able to do 6850 with 6950. But I seriously doubt you can pair a 6850 with a 7550 (can you even crossfire one of those?).
Overclocking question: I noticed protput has a (seemingly to me fantastic) vCore of 1.285, 1.30 in CPU-Z (I am at something like 1.325V in bios). I noticed he had changed his RAM settings to 10 10 10 27. Would doing this allow me to run the processor at a lower voltage?
Well seems to be shipping today apparently and grabbing it aprox upon Thursday with a refund of 69$ because I paid a ''Rush service'' Computer will be shipped the next day which cost 120$+ however that turned into... 5 days apparently horrible -.-
Then hopefully I can play D3 again
Sigh think I'm losing my mind; Been playing console games within the past weeks
Yea I would have posted in the computer forums asking us to build you the best computer for the $900 possible, just outright buying and then coming to us is kind of, well, foolish. =/
If you can return it, I'd highly suggest it. You can get so much better for $900, really.
Ok so it's M-Audio AV40 vs Corsair SP2500.
I'm def leaning towards SP2500 because it's got a dedicated sub. But then it's unfair because it's a whole lot more expensive than the AV40's too. So it's decided, SP2500 setup coming in when my local store re-stocks on them!
Oh and a K90. Enough of my fucking G110 not giving me any feedback when I press keys.

you could also look into a pair of active studio monitors, my brother ordered a pair of KRK RP5 G2's after hearing my RP8's, he has them plugged straight into his Xonar STX
Yeah or even just buy a separate M-Audio sub. Anything by M-Audio would probably thunderously wreck audio from Corsair. Sure Corsair has been on a roll with great quality "stuff" with all the peripherals/innards they have been making lately, but frankly, they are making computer speakers, not top-notch serious-mode speakers. Fact of the matter is though, the SP2500s are $235~ in the US, which is equivalent to a decent budget-end pair of studio monitors and budget sub, which I would prefer still. I've learned to trust my audio from actual audio companies (note: not computer peripheral companies) and I am kind of surprised Xuvial of all people would buy the SP2500s. Mr. Sennheiser HD 558s.
Seriously the SP2500s will not likely do your Xonar STX any justice. ;p
Hope they work out though, but I'd still suggest you consider other options. Cyanotical's suggestion would be a superb route to go, I must say, I've gone studio monitors and I don't think I'll ever go back. They just sound so pure.
