    Contrary to popular belief achievements weren't introduced with Lich King but by a late patch to TBC. Of course, it was late hence it didn't get too many achievements.

    Then again Ulduar was ridiculous. Every boss gives 6 achievements and then you realize it was 4 more achievements that you must do another time.

    Achievements were introduced with 3.0 which was a WOTLK patch.
