Dragons aren't super-effective against its own type? That's going to confuse the shit out of me. D:
But oh man, I'm so excited for this! Going to be so much fuuuuun

Water types seem to be OP as they are good against 2 types and only weak against water and humanoids, from what we can see so far they are the only type "super-effective" against 2 types although if weaknesses are anything to go by humanoids will be given bonus damage against 2 types also.
hopefully they balance them by having the bonus damage halved.
And you can play against NPC's? I just know Garrosh and Voljin are into pokemon big time.

5172-1206-0622 pokemon FC Lets Battle!!
Id love for them to add the chance to battle different NPC's i wanna challange Garrosh to a battle.
They could add an element like Triple Triad (FF8) where you get to pick a pet from then if you win. Could be a way of adding new pets to the game.
This looks even better than I imagined. Can't wait to try it out

Now that they've added pet types they have a whole new mechanic to balance lol. Might be more fun for us though.
shouldn't be too hard to balance the types, you just do bonus or less damage against certain types.
Hmm just realised that those wild pets will be the different types too. So ideally I'd want to have leveled a counter type for each sort out there. So 10 types, one each. I'd have to make my main team, and then 3 more teams of 3 to get 12 trained pets to cover all classes. Doing it by teams to make it easier to level the different pets, and not have to change tactics all the time or have odd weaknesses againts certain teams. Just make sure you have some basic coverage in each team and then make sure that the pets within one team don't get to far away from each other in terms of level. Fool proof plan! Though that's a lot of pets to level
Engineering would be a good prof to make pet items. Expensive as hell to level because there's almost nothing worth selling from that profession.
no demon pets yet?
Warlorcs of Draenorc made me quit. You can't have my stuff.
