    Movement impairing effect immunity??

Am I reading this right?! From the front page:

    Druid (Forums)
    Baseline

Aquatic Form now makes you immune to movement impairing effects, instead of movement slowing effects.
Bear Form now makes you immune to movement impairing effects, instead of movement slowing effects.
Cat Form now makes you immune to movement impairing effects, instead of movement slowing effects.
Treant Form now makes you immune to movement impairing effects, instead of movement slowing effects.
Swift Flight Form now makes you immune to movement impairing effects, instead of movement slowing effects.
Travel Form now makes you immune to movement impairing effects, instead of movement slowing effects.

Movement impairing effects = snares and roots, correct? So druids are immune to snares and roots BASELINE?

Am I missing something here? I know this is datamined but wow...

Is this just a datamined "buff" that you get when you switch forms? (disentanglement) or is it passive?

I'm pretty sure that's more of a typo or bad wording than anything else. If you hower your mouse over the abilities, it just shows "The act of shapeshifting frees the caster of movement impairing effects." instead of "slowing effects". Sounds a little silly if they are permanently immune.

This makes a lot of sense, thanks for clearing that up.

[..] Form now makes you immune to movement impairing effects, instead of movement slowing effects.
If you actually read it you'll see it was changed to "The act of shapeshifting frees the caster of movement impairing effects.". The front page of Mmo-c is misleading.

It's basically as it is now, except it says "movement impairing effects" instead of "movement slowing effects"

Meh, Santti beat me to it.

Movement Impairing effects" , its the paladins Seal of justile atm (it will removed in MoP) , while it will be given to the Hunters arcane shot as a glyph in MoP

Movement Impairing effects = any extra movement bonus speed (travel form) are disabled

    You guys didn't see this? :P http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...lement-for-all!

We're not yet happy with the druid level 90 row. We still like the theme of it playing into the druid's hybrid nature and we want to reassure you (which I think most of you already know) that druids won't do lower damage or healing compared to other classes just because some other class has an unambiguous throughput increasing talent at level 90. Classes are balanced around their whole package.

Nonetheless, we want the bottom row of talents to be exciting. In the next (hopefully) build, you'll see a few changes.

Disentanglement -- no longer a talent. Shapeshifting for all druids just breaks roots.
    GC posted it last night

No. Movement Impairing effects are slows and roots. Shifting is merely being restored to what it was before Cata.

Druids forms , always was <<the act of shapeswift remove roots and slows>>
    It was never Impairing effects

It was worded differently. It is the same effect.

In fact, it's exactly what it says on Moonkin Form right now, and guess what Moonkin removes on shifting.

I think the wording is just confusing:

Disentanglement -- no longer a talent. Shapeshifting for all druids just breaks roots.

It's being changed to what it was at cata launch. The "just breaks roots" part is that it dropped the healing when shifting portion of the talent.

No, the wording changed to Impairment (slows+roots) in Cata and then into slowing only after the nerf. Now it's back. But it was indeed "roots and slows" for all the time before cata

Its a give and take in one.

Currently can't ferals actually drop movement slowing effect such as chill from frostbolt. That is no longer being the case. It's just that Ferals return to Breaking roots.

Original: Break Roots and Removes Slows
    Cata: Removes Slows
    MoP: Breaks Roots

Movement impairing effects means Roots AND Slows, not just roots. It's removing both. Stop spreading misinformation.

When GC said "just", he didn't mean "and nothing else" but rather "will just happen". As in "shapeshifting for all druids simply breaks roots", not "only breaks roots". Really, it's not that hard to understand unless you're deliberately trying.
