I already play an MMO, so i am hinging on Planetside 2 myself. I played the original PS1 as well so that may cloud my decision : )

I'd say GW2 without a doubt. Just looks far more along the development line with having massive beta tests and all. We really don't know that much about Planetside 2 yet, except for a few dev videos.

Anyway, if you don't already see where I'm going with this, allow me to spell it out: the only meaningful MMORPG "endgame" -- i.e., something novel to do after the progression process is over -- is that of the sandbox.

planetside2, seriously the first was amazing and GW2 is just another boring hotkey MMORPG, they aren't going to run out of those anytime soon.

PS2 isn't just an MMOFPS, from what i heard you can also fly ships and drive tanks.

Personally looking forward to Planetside more but will be playing them both, I would guess that GW2 will be out first considering Planetside is still in Alpha.

GW2 will be released first, simply for the fact that they have pre-order-only closed beta running on some weekends, and press beta for a long time, whereas TB just got the first exclusive set of footage IIRC, or at least doesn't have any big press beta going on yet.
