Hey,
i had the problem in D3 and have now the same with SC2. In the story mode the speeches are just very unclear, the rest of the game is good. But i can understand nothing in the cinematics when they speak. Its making sound when they speak but its just very dull.
Any idea how to solve this?

What kind of drive do you have it installed on? I'm going to suggest mods move this to the computer forums though, as you are more likely to get the proper help there.

Its probably just a crappy soundcard. I used to get weird blips and even a stuttering sound with certain music and games, even during the windows boot chime. Probably only see the issue with certain audio frequencies. I replaced my soundcard and the problem went away.
