The psu is kinda overkill you'll do fine with about 650w, the graphics card is fine, and if you have it in your budget swap the cpu for the i5 3750k, which is pretty much the newer gen version of the 2500k. Other than that it looks good.

    All is good, except:

PSU is ABSOLUTE OVERKILL. You could easily get away with a 500-650 watt PSU, if you absolutely need to be sure for yourself. 650 watt is already overkill, trust me on that. The 7870 doesn't require much juice at all, nor does the 2500K. Save yourself a few bucks on the GPU.

MoBo is not one I would suggest, Asus seems to be having issues in the MoBo department and that one isn't exactly one of the stellar ones that gets special treatment, either. I suggest going with an ASRock Z77 Extreme4 board, should be $70-80 cheaper, and still be better.

    $349 seems a bit expensive for a 7870, though.

Is that an American site? $155 for the motherboard seems expensive. The PSU is also expensive, unless those are Canadian dollars, then I guess both may be right, though I am not sure.

I would consider buying from amazon or newegg like someone already said. Both offer there products for lower prices, and you can also get a free month of amazon prime (if you haven't already) which will give you faster and cheaper shipping

As we just learned, he's from Australia, so it isn't a simple matter of changing websites. =/ Otherwise I would be in full agreement with you.
