$90 I pay for this. God damn you Australia! (My area specifically won't get fiber for about 5 years.....)
If this option went available I would jump on it instantly.
Time to get a high-paying job and move to KC, no?

For $70/mo you get 1000mb/s internet.
For $120/mo you get the internet plus google TV.
Or
You can pay $300 once and get free 5mb/s internet for 7 years.
Also if you get the $70 a month package they give you a free nexus 7 tablet that you get to keep after a certain amount of time which also controls your modem they give you.
And here i am stuck with 7mb/s from comcast.. i hope this comes my way soon.
It's not just internet plus TV. You also get a 2 terrabyte storage box, a nexus 7, and oh my god, that's like the ultimate service, plus it's google, so you'd imagine it's transparent and they wont give you shi* for browsing the internet freely. You also get wireless for your nexus and or laptop that's 350mbps.

If they come to Portland, OR, I'll be alllll over it. Right now, Comcast and Clear have freaking monopolies on non-dish internet services (Comcast apparently owns the majority shares in Clear lol). They can charge what they want, and we get absolutely terrible connections. There's a new service in town, Century Link, but I'd imagine I wouldn't get much better with them than what I'm getting now.
I would, but there's no way it'll be available in my rural area.
I "raced" against fiber and it only let me go as low as 5mbps. Is that the average these days? I have 150kbps, and already it was 200x faster at 5mbps. Can internet even do this? It's completely unfathomable by someone like me.

Yeah, after further thinking on it, I've concluded glo doesn't understand how a business, especially one as gi-frickin-gantic as Google works. If Google can reach customers (and they would, by expanding) then they will. Simple as that. Saying they "don't plan to expand" essentially, at all, would be a stupid business move and they would basically be saying "we're not even going to try and combat the horrible prices and internet speeds you all get from Comcast and such, because well, we just don't feel like it."
It makes no sense for them to not expand.
It states on the website that Google are offering 1 Gigabit internet, not Gigabyte so that'd only be around 128Mb. I guess that's still faster than my current 105Mb though.
