Honostly? I dont think they will add any more professions. The eight professions we have all cover all these mentioned suggested professions in some way or the other.
Sure theres no shapeshifter archtype as such, but the mechanics of a shapeshifter is mingled with the engineer through kits.

Id personally like to see the "Death Knight" archtype, but playwise it would prolly come out as a mix of the Guardian and the Necro, hence it wouldn't work.

Now I do believe they will add more weapon choices to the excisting professions, and maybe a new trait line for each.

Don't think they'll add more professions as GW1 proved it tends to make things...unbalanced and harder to keep track of.
Rather I think we'll see new weapons and races being added

That makes me sad really......spirits - turrets. Changes the entire focus.
Plus, what with mesmer clones I also don't think they'll introduce Rits now. Too many profs with supports units.
everyone but the warrior has one

I really don't think clones feel anything like spirits, I can see the similarities, mechanic wise and feel wise it's not the same.

Now I don't know about engineer and turrets...

    http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Turret

They do seem spirit like, but the lack of direct traits and diversity means we can't rule out ritualist.

a scythe throwing plate warrior who shouts boons onto you which when they end, apply conditions to your enemies?

dervagon utility spell: "fus Ro Dah" shout. knocks enemies back. enemies are knocked farther back the closer they are

    range: 450. knockback
    range 130: knockdown: 2s

I like to see a Lotro Warden style of class, with spears and agile moves like Achilles in Troy. But this can also be done if they add Spear weapon and give it to warriors/Guardians and build the animations of this weapon skill
The trick of selling a FFA-PvP MMO is creating the illusion among gankers that they are respectable fighters while protecting them from respectable fights, as their less skilled half would be massacred and quit instead of “HTFU” as they claim.

I've never liked Bard classes. :| The concept is silly and doesn't make sense. They sing... their enemies to death!

I would defo like to see Paragon (ranged heavy armoured) Dervish (melee medium armoured) and ritualist (melee range caster light armoured) make their return, I loved them back in GW 1 and will miss them in 2.

I also like the Chronomancer idea.

I think the healing class in lotr online does that is some way :P I dunno they don'r have to only sing, aren't they like a slippery kind of guy?
A singing thief? lol I dunno.. I would like to see a 3rd soldier but.. its hard not to be to familiar to the other classes, altho I would like a death/dark knight of some sort but without undead minions. They focus more on like.. blood and dark magic I think. Like the one you can be in ffx-2.
