Let's make America GREAT again. Trump 2016.
The community whined and bitched and cried, they stamped their little feet and demanded faster expansion releases. They don't get to complain now that expansions are shorter.
WarZ is officially removed from Steams front page and you can no longer purchase it.
Good to see when justice is done.

This whole situation truly is hilarious.
Most importantly - "Those who purchased the title via Steam and are unhappy with what they received may seek a refund by creating a ticket at our support site here: https://support.steampowered.com/newticket.php "
Full quote from Valve:
Valve: "From time to time a mistake can be made and one was made by prematurely issuing a copy of War Z for sale via Steam. We apologize for this and have temporary removed the sale offering of the title until we have time to work with the developer and have confidence in a new build. Those who purchased the game and wish to continue playing it via Steam may do so. Those who purchased the title via Steam and are unhappy with what they received may seek a refund by creating a ticket at our support site here: https://support.steampowered.com/newticket.php
Again, we apologize any inconvenience."
Wow, even Steam yanked it? Just... Wow. So anything on what the hell happened? Was this just a dev trying to scam or are we talking a full on Sigil-Vanguard level pooch screwing?
Sir Robin, the Not-Quite-So-Brave-As-Sir-Lancelot.
Who had nearly fought the Dragon of Angnor.
Who had almost stood up to the vicious Chicken of Bristol.
And who had personally wet himself, at the Battle of Badon Hill.
The short story is they promised a lot, delivered very little, and used a lot of scummy money-grabbing techniques (increasing respawn timer 4-fold from 1 hour to 4 hours when you die but allowing you to rez instantly for a currency fee (currency is bought with real money))
I try not to take sides in issues like this, but justice was well-served in this case.

I hate getting to OT but it kinda is. The motivation to defend the creators of the game is based purely on hype, ideas, and 6 screenshots which could easily be Maya mock-ups. As I mentioned on the last page, I'm signed up, I would love to see this game created as they've described it, and I personally don't think it's a scam, but the lead designer made fucking the backbone code for Big Rigs FFS.

I find it harder and harder to see how this thing was not intended as a scam as more things show up.
You know..... I never thought that getting your game sold on Steam would be a bad thing hahahaha
I keep thinking about all those GreenLight titles, indie devs just chomping to get their games posted on Steam.
Oh and i finally got that Gamespy article read, I about fell outta my chair when I read this:
I knew this guy was no good after he made that comment about the Dead Lingor and preordering to put food on their table. Ya F**K that guy!Sergey Titov: I'm sure there'll be people who will look into small details and will say "no I was mislead," where in fact they imagined something to themselves without checking details first. I'm sure that Steam have it's refund policies that should handle those situations.
I'm actually finding this down right appalling.
I hope they get sued for everything they got. The entire game at this point is one giant cash grab taking advantage of the DayZ community.
I don't think I've been more angry at a company/game before, especially for a game I hadn't planned on buying anyway.

I don't really think you can call it inspired when it's exactly the same .
Well it seems that Steam has removed the ability to buy the game. The game info is still up on their site but you can not buy it. LOL. Justice for the gamers!
Cheese. Its amazing. Until your feet smell like it.
