There are of course people like that. But they're extremely rare to the point where to assume that such a post IS serious is kind of unreasonable.
Me and Ruom actually had a good conversation about this one feminist site we found (any stream attenders will understand why). The views there were incredibly radical. Stuff like "national castration day", lines in there being "Men must get what they deserve. As they have earned. As slaves." (not exact quote but something along the lines). We went through and saw a bunch of stuff like that, but I insisted that it wasn't serious. Turns out I was wrong, as on the left, I noticed a little caption saying "The views of this website do not reflect the views of all feminists". Which pretty much closed the case of this person being serious.

Can people be stupidly unreasonably? Of course. But they are so incredibly rare, you may as well be assuming every ginger you meet is muslim.

This, and ones alike it and politics in general are pretty pointless and people overreact to it. People obsess about the president, but really hes a scapegoat. People need to look up checks and balances.

The best example that comes to my mind is that infamous article of a raging delusional "social justice blogger" that made My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic famous, were a proclaimed feminist is saying awful things about the show, Lauren Faust types a comment on the article, putting her on her place.

The reason things like that got so 'famous' was because 4chan like, lives and breaths on hunting down the most horrible things they can find and taking them to new levels. And again, we're dealing with an extreme minority so small that they don't even matter.
