I just found out that 100 is not the max level in Torchlight 2, and that sadly is the highlight of my day/week.

Wait. It isn't? I thought it was. Huh. What's the max level then?

No idea, but the highest maps are 105, and I'm still getting xp at 100.

No idea, but the highest maps are 105, and I'm still getting xp at 100.

I know the highest maps in the mapworks are 105, but i thought it just stopped at 100. Because, you know, you can still fight things at 5 levels above your current, just not easily.

I'm wondering now how hard it is to get legendary items. I can't find a replacement for my off-hand for anything. My main-hand is over 1000 dps.

Did you just say over 1000 dps?! My current mainhand is only like 450 dps. Oh wow, can't wait for higher level . . . if i ever feel like grinding out to that point. I got like 22 hours out of it, for 20 dollars i'd say that's worth it :P

This is my main-hand. Plus a 130 physical damage ember into the socket. I'm still very confused about what may or may not increase you abilities' damage, if it's only direct increases to your weapon's dps, or if strength even does a damn thing.

Oh wow that looks pretty nice. And I have no idea how the ability damage scales based off of weapon damage. I do know that strength increases weapon damage though, which in the end isn't a bad thing either way. What class are you playing anyways? I assume engineer.

Yeah, capped all my skills I used at like 98, now I have nothing else to spend em on.

Aww that sucks. Capping skills is a pain in the ass, at least compared to the first game. In the first game though there were just too many, and even more passives that you almost "had" to take just for the sake of utility (like decreasing the requirements of armor by 1). Ah well. I need to play more TL2 but been too busy and not in the mood for it.

I need to play more TL2 but been too busy and not in the mood for it.

As an engineer you pretty much have to take Forcefield, or whatever it's called. I find it odd that my pet has much better stats than I do all around, and Forcefield absorbs twice as much damage as my max hp, and it's cooldown is only eight seconds.

Ah I see. I play beserker, and i can't really say there is anything you NEED to take, but i highly recommend taking thing that increases the charge duration. 6 seconds of non-stop crits is good, but more than 6 seconds is even better.
