/facepalm
you're right, not every fight will start with popping BL.
Well I guess you just throw a SrS on pull then.

I want to have a child and use it as a pulling tool in dungeons.
Hey guys,
Thought I'd sign up to give my 2cents on this matter. I've been playing BM since i dinged 90. I guess i use something very close to your guys rotations. But i seem to be pushing 170k+ burst in 5mans and 200k+ in 10man raids.
Heres what i do:
MD Tank
Pre-pot
Serpent Sting
BW+RF+Trinkets
Stampede
Rabid
KC
Direbeast
LynxRush
Glaive
Arcane Shot
KC
Readiness
KC
Direbeast
LynxRush (Usually BW runs out about here)
BW
Glaive
SS
Arcane spam with KC on cd
RF when BW runs out
As i said, not much difference but it may just be because im in a group.
probably... I never hit 200k yet so it could be a gear thing to but your opener is exactly to the one i use but i don't use SS. Maybe I should lol
I want to have a child and use it as a pulling tool in dungeons.
Did a sha of anger the other day, People were like wtf at that burst lol.
Sure, Im Hawkeyed from Caelestrasz
best so far is 105k with new revision.
I'm think of putting DB before KC though since it benefits more from our stats than KC will.
Here's a quick one I just did. I would go more into depth with more details and test some other things out as well, but I don't have that much time until Wednesday.
It was ~ 150k, went down by the time I took the screenshot. Ones I post later will be much better.
lol, that is like saying arcane is a better spec then fire.
survival = easy peezy hunter spec : boring, very little/no thought go into the game play.
BM = a true juggle act of cd's and abilities, where true class talent shines through.
There is a reason why all the top parsers for fights are BM right now. They buffed survival just to keep huntards from bitching about the BM/MM rotations.
The idea I understand is that you want to do
Bestial wrath duration
Bestial wrath ends
Rapid fire duration
Rapid fire ends
Readiness
Bestial wrath duration
Bestial wrath ends
Rapid fire duration
Rapid fire ends
Lots of people keep posting something where they go Bestial Wrath -> Readiness -> Bestial Wrath -> Rapid fire. To me this doesn't make sense as you lose an entire rapid fire.

Don't forget you get a damage buff in 5 mans.
Nobody should be doing this as it would result in quite a difference in overall damage. The first BW is used at the same time as RF as the cooldowns are removed with readiness. But the second one is used seperately (BW then RF). If anyone skips the first RF they should be shot as it is a free CD. :P
The idea is to get the most CDs out in a fight. The major rule is not to use RF with BL if possible.
Ofcourse I remember, I dont run with randoms often. So i dont get any bonus. :S
Why would you use rapid fire with bw at all? You can separate the two and then use readiness after the first set of BW then Rapid.
00 Bestial Wrath
10 Rapid Fire
25 Readiness
25 Bestial Wrath
35 Rapid Fire
50 Done
Also, always use Focus Fire with rapid fire even if you're at 3 stacks or something.

Get the idea of a perfect rotation out of your head. Everything you do should revolve around your trinkets, as well as the fight length. If you use 2 ICD Proc trinkets like I do, such as Searing Words/DMC Trinket, your starting rotation should be staggered to account for these trinkets. Unlike Firelands/Dragon Soul Trinkets that had a very high proc chance, and would generally proc immediately, these new trinkets require a bit of time before they proc. With that said here is generally what you should do to start.
----------
Before Pull
----------
Ask your tank where he will be positioning the boss. If it is a completely stationary boss fight, Heroic Spiritbender for example, then lay a Snake Trap/Explosive trap at the tank location. Free damage is free damage.
Make a macro for both your Prepot and Kill command. Anything simple works. Macro's I use are at the bottom.
Before every boss fight you should be testing the limits of your abilities. This includes 1.) Seeing how close you can get your Traps to the bosses feet without the activating. 2.) Seeing how close your Camouflage will let you get to the boss without pulling. The Camo one is very key as you need to be within 20 Yards to Kill command charge. Assuming you don't have a predetermined stack location.
----
Pull
----
-10 - Traps/Camo
-5 - MD Tank
-1 Pre pot/Kill Command
+1 - SrS (This SrS will fall off, don't bother casting CoS to refresh it during opener. SrS is just a better option than AS because it has a much higher chance, per tick, to proc your trinkets)
+2 - Dire Beast
+3 - Rapid Fire/Stampede Macro
+4 - Glaive Toss (Basically just waiting on KC to come back up)
+5 - Kill Command/Cooldowns Macro (BW, Rabid, Orc Racial, Engi Gloves, Kill Command all macro'd together)
+6 - Lynx Rush
+7 - Arcane Shot
+8 - Arcane Shot
+9 - Serpent Sting (Your original SrS will fall off)
+10 - Kill Command
+11 - Readiness
+12 - Kill Command
+13 - Glaive Toss (Wait for first BW to expire)
+14 - Arcane Shot (Need to wait 1 GCD to make sure you can get 2 KC in 1 BW)
+15 - BW/Cooldowns
+16 - Lynx Rush
+17 - Kill Command
+18-19 - Reapply SrS if fit fell off, AS as needed until BW expires. Pop Rapid Fire again if the fight length exceed 7 minutes, otherwise save this RF for your Trinkets to come off ICD.
Using this opener you will not burst insanely high like many people do. I can get as high as 350k burst, which is a lot, but the important thing here is to stagger your CD's with Trinkets for maximum DPS. By waiting and ensuring your have your Trinkets up, your burst will turn into sustained DPS.
-------
Macros
-------
Start of the pull
#showtooltip Virmen's Bite
/petattack
/use Virmen's Bite
/cast Kill Command
--------------------------
#showtooltip Stampede
/cast Rapid Fire
/cast Stampede
--------------------------
This macro simply uses CD's and saves me a GCD in the process. Instead of using a GCD for cooldowns, and then KC, putting it into one macro saves you time and damage. Always use this CD instead of your KC hotkey if your KC and BW are both off CD at the same time.
#showtooltip Rapid Fire
/petattack
/use 13
/use 14
/use 10
/cast Blood Fury
/cast Bestial Wrath
/cast Rabid
/cast Kill Command
--------------------------
#showtooltip Lynx Rush
/cast Rabid
/cast Lynx Rush
That is quite the opener to remember!
Pop everything, and then just pop the shit with the highest DPT on a descending order, pop Readiness, repeat.
It's no science, this is how opening works.
As in.
Serpent Sting for trinket procs.
Pop everything you can not on GCD.
Lynx Rush (if specced), if not, Stampede
Stampede
Glaive Toss
Kill Command
Dire Beast
Spam arcane until KC off cooldown, then use Kill Command
Readiness
Lynx Rush
Kill Command
Glaive Toss
Dire Beast.
Open a fight like this, get used to it.
150k bursts on dummy cya.

Just need to get used to it with my recent UI and keybind revamp I suppose.
What are the current BM reforge weights? Is mastery valued greater than/equal to crit or not? I need to iron out my scenario before Tuesday and I'm gung ho about it.
