Yes cause new message recuires hundreds of working hours and demands hundreds of workers to do that.
I would have wanted something new still and pet would have been nice or tabard

What about the Onyxia pet? Wasn't that for the 6th anniversary? How is that a milestone?

Nope, it has a 10sec cooldown. But it requires the 8th Anniversary, so I guess you can only use it today.

They have just given up on this since the Onyxia anniversary. Each year this is a wasted opportunity to remind players of good times they have had and why they play. Instead people are left with a sour taste in their mouths that gets stronger and harder to deal with annually.

The Onyxia Whelpling, along with the Onyxia raid, was for the 5th; the milestone.

The Blizzard Bear was for the 4th, and the first time they did achievements for WoW Anniversaries (since the 4th was in WotLK and achievements were introduced)

I still believe we should get a pet on each anniversary. It's not a huge reward for something as simple as logging in in a two week period, and it's a nifty little thing we will hold on to until our last day playing.
