If you've spilt red wine on shag carpet you need to get that cleaned ASAP, Either call a local cleaning company or buy some good cleaner, because that's the kind of stain that will hold:S

Protip: Cover the whole of the stain with salt and let it dry up. The salt will absorb the wine and leave an easily cleaneable impression.

Call a professional, don't dump stuff on it. They have the exact solvent and machinery to remove the stain.
