Yeah, but nearly everything is blocked and they put programs on the computer that don't let you do anything (you can't remove a flashdrive or go to any files but your specific account files, for example) and they put the safesearch on Google. Nearly every single site that has swear words is blocked. Teachers have to have a special password to bypass all of those protections (I don't have that password, only the password to the wifi) so they can get on Youtube so they can actually teach. Some sites that are obscure (like MMOC) generally go unnoticed by the school so it's never blocked.

Happy friday indeed. And happy two week vacation for me \o/
Murricans have weeeeeeeeeird censorships.
I hate you. But congrats anyways!
It's not really censorship, it's not explicitly declared that swear words are illegal (it is for the bus), but it violates "Safe School Policy" which basically allows the school to expel you or arrest you if you swear. I've never seen it done, but I've seen people get close to being arrest (lol, like me) because of it. It's really just a blanket law for "whatever the hell we feel like suspending/expelling/arresting you for."
I thought you lived in the US. This sounds like Iran or North Korea...
It's already Caturday!

And how does that make the school more safe? -_- Instead of addressing the source, they're fighting symptoms.
What about instead of making people not swear at school you actually make them not get their hands on guns or something, you know. I just dont get those things.
Anyways, I should be off to bed. Good night everyone!
