You know, I never really appreciated how deep the Harry Potter books got until recently.
I always thought it was Harry goes to school, does the school thing and then the villain shows up with a dastardly plot. This was when I was a kid, and early teens and I believed there wasn't whole heck of a lot of carry over from the previous book. Mind you, I still loved the books, but I admittedly just never really read them thinking there was any depth.
But as a adult, looking back with a helpful review from the movies, and a lot of subplot dug up from the internet. I really, really appreciate harry potter books now.
