$15 for Windows 8 Pro is an awesome deal! Grab it while you can.

Instructions for how to do a clean install with it.
I have not been able to get that to allow me to upgrade (without having a Win7 install key available) for a long time. It might be kind of futile.

I mean actually getting the upgrade code to get Win8 for $15. If you go to Windowsupgradeoffer and don't have a Win7 license, it's nearly impossible to get it to validate now. Before it wasn't (Which might have been a mistake)

When exactly does it ask for a license? I just did it two minutes ago and it went fine for me, just waiting for the mail.

I found reports saying the same and that it works if you try a few times and change the date of purchase around a bit.

Just got my mail with the code in it, done from Windows 8 even.

Right after I put in all my info, vendor info, etc. The very first time I did this (back in Dec or Jan) it didn't ask for one. The next time I did it, it did. I've honestly tried like 30 different times with different info, and either get denied, or asked for a Win7 code, of which Upgrades, MSDN, Student Upgrades dont work with.

I seriously would buy like 4 of these if I could get the dang thing to work. I still have 1 left unused.

Thanks for the PSU Nocturnal. I hope the PSU is the issue for my computer that wouldn't turn on this morning instead of the mobo.
