Yes if the murder rate in my country has risen so greatly, there would be a case for concern. However, the reverse is true for the US. The murder rate has been dropping for many years.

What would make the car issue safer would be to stop unleashing children as young as 14 onto public roads.. Legal age is 16 with certain exceptions as early as 14... That's madness..
