Yes, Frey only posts hello and good bye posts, but that is Frey. We know he doesn't like sharing much about himself and sure if you really want to talk to him he doesn't normally respond, but that is who Frey is. We have known this about him for almost two years now.

Did I say "I want you to stop"? I never asked him to stop. I said he was on my ignore list, I gave my reasons, and I very clearly said

I can't stop you being you and I don't want to. If just saying hello and goodbye makes you feel better, go for it.

If that's who he really, actually, genuinely is, there's no more reason for him to be butthurt than there is for you or me to get butthurt because we have different tastes in music. We have different interests and that's that, the end.

Well, I mean, the entire situation ends up boiling down to each individual's interpretation of what was said. Given that it's hard to get tone across on the internet, there are many way to interpret the things people say. I'm not saying it's bad if Frey is sore over what transpired, because it could be construed negatively, just that there's a way to look at it that doesn't shine in a negative light.

There sure are ways of looking at it that is not negative, but there are not many people that would look at something like that in a positive light first.

I know if people did the same to me I would be "butthurt" as well. Coming from a couple of people out of nowhere, seemingly unprovoked, and it would have felt threatening if I was him. Unfortunately he isn't you so you can't say there isn't a reason for him to feel that way, but clearly he may feel that way and he could easily have his reasons to feel that way. If some people did that to you and you shrugged it off that is super, but for those who can not do that it it is a different story.

Also realize you called what he said "meaningless chatter" and that you ignore him because of that, so there is one reason for it.
